I gotta give it to RRMods when it comes to detail because when purchasing JR content the flashing ditch lights are glitchy and the interiors are only detailed on the dash 9s and ac44/60s which is strange and the other interiors are the default dda40x interiors

Do the Phase 3 ditch lights not work by design or was that because I swapped out the bell?

I’m pretty sure it’s by design, I don’t think any of the Dash 8s had flashing ditchlights when they were in Phase 3 paint, because they had strobe lights during that time. When they were sent for maintenance, the strobes were removed, flashing ditchlights were implemented, along with receiving Phase 4 paint.

You are right in the 1980s all the way to the early 90s Amtrak was more on strobes than ditch lights since that wasn’t a thing until the mid 1990s
