  • Lobster season just opened up in California and the Caught by Krousey crew take an opportunity to see if they can grab some spiny lobster. Krousey heads up to San Fernando Valley to dive with his buddy River, a veteran who deals with PTSD. Together they hit Malibu to dive for some food to put on the table. Stick around until the end when Krousey shows us how to make spiny lobster rolls over the fire!

Yeah for no ticket! Great footage and catch. As a couple we both served as Military Police and appreciate you taking a vet out there.

Yummy. Made me jealous seeing you guys diving. I should have kept diving even if I turned 73. Thankyou, Puakeaokalani, for sharing your soon River and his friend (Krousy?) Wonderful philosophy...

for crabbing at spots, I leave when there are others, but I never leave for diving. If nobody caught anything, I usually attribute it to poor skills and I go anyway. btw, this was just an awesome vid in EVERY WAY!! those are some amazing underwater angles where you left the camera down there, sure beats my "can't see anything" nighttime lobster vid! And sick sandbass too, those are my 2nd favorite fish on the West Coast! my only criticism is River not panning down at the catch and just talking about it, I NEED TO SEE THE BOOTY! cooking montage was so well-done too!! it was so funny when you said, "SHARE [something as simple as a lobster roll]" and then you showed up on camera, eating the roll by yourself.
