Housewife of more than 20 years here. Many men want a good traditional wife and we're supposed to be submissive and respect our husbands. However, what many don't realize is that it only works when you have a kind, respectful, loving husband. He's not respecting you and seems borderline abusive. He needs to get it together or expect to not have a wife.
My partner and i do dishes/clean kitchen together so they get done. But we also had a dog who is sick with diabetes so sometimes ill do dishes/clean up while he takes care of her meds. Im in school and working and hes been working overtime so much that i picked up more chores and he does what i cant get to and takes care of our animals. We communicate and make sure we know whats clean/dirty so we can plan
huge red flag if he is threatening to hit you it is time to pack you bags and leave get a divorce asap that threat if you stay with him will turn into physical abuse down the road.
He is already abusing verbally and mentally pissing in the drawer and expecting you to clean the mess up is a small part of it.
She should definitely divorce. I do all the cooking in my family cause it enjoy. He does laundry, vacuum, occasionally dishes as he work and I work from home. I do dishes, mop, dusting. We have a third person living with us too. If he had made a comment like that about hitting me cause I wouldn’t cook I would divorce him

If the hitting part is an inside joke between you then my response is, he said "if it's what you think is best for the marriage okay" It sounds like he is at least genuinely in love with you. My husband and I have both made decisions the other didn't like that we believed to be best for our marriage.

I went through I went through this with my ex-husband I was 7 months pregnant I had just made a wonderful dinner and the deal was he would do the dishes on one day I would do the dishes the other day we would do the dishes opposite day of who cooked he had not done the dishes the night before so I went ahead and did them then I did the cooking the following day and he refused to do the dishes so they sat so they sat and sat and sat

Nowhere does she mention children, she basically says he doesn't support her the way she wants, meaning she wants to hire people to do all of the domestic work for her, but she also says I may be going back to school or work soon, meaning she isn't doing either now. She wants to be paid to cook and do dishes, since she doesn't go to school or work what is she doing all day while he's at work? Nothing! IF they had kids then sure as shootin he should help quite a bit. Young children are a hand full and very stressful, but instead she's just lazy AF. That logic doesn't make any sense. Firstly doing it all just because you work less is illogical. Say he works 40 hours a week and she works 35 suddenly all household responsibilities are on her?
