Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Since I had no fixed viewpoints, and no expectations, I could enjoy the movie, and Miss Fanning's performance. I think she brought her own uniqueness to the role, and definitely could serve a a role model to young women who want to succeed in a man's world.
There's always gonna be trolls who just refuse to relax and enjoy a story as it's being told. I don't go to the movies to look for things to complain about. I just go and let myself be entertained, without judging.
Dakota was wonderful, absolutely marvelous!
There on screen chemistry is undeniable!

Dakota was terrible. The character was overconfident, way too much bravado, under experienced, and actually thought she was playing on the same playing field as Denzel when she wasn't even in the same planet. It was cringe and utterly not believable that she would be a lead in that role.
Kinda disagree. Reminds me of new officers in the military who just got of their school with a 4 year degree thinking they are hot shit. I think it is perfectly reasonable to have a character like this.
She was his assistant in this movie. 😂

The movie was good, but in my opinion, Dakota Fanning was a terrible choice. She wasn’t believable on this role.
