Sinji is a small village in Kalimpong district. An absolute offbeat destination. Surrounded by lush greenery and cardamom plantation, one can enjoy the majestic Kanchenjunga right from the cottage beds. A big courtyard/lawn in front of the cottage offers you a 200 degree view and is big enough for children to run and play and the elderly can stroll peacefully.
Sinji is a tiny settlement in Kalimpong quite renowned for offering a mesmerizing view of the Mount Kanchenjunga.
Sinji is 60 kms from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and 65 Kms from Bagdogra Airport, from Kalimpong 24 kms.
There are very few homestays to stay in Sinji, but If you love the peaceful ambiance of the hills. View of Kanchenjunga, Then Rocky Top Retreat is perfect place for you.

পাহাড়ে ঘুরতে যাই প্রকৃতিক দৃশ্য উপভোগ করতে, জার্নিটাকে উপভোগ করতে। সেখানে দামি বিছানায় শুয়ে কি হবে। সেটা তো শহরেও পাওয়া যায়। 2600 টাকা তবুও আবার লাঞ্চ বাদ দিয়ে। লাঞ্চ সহ প্রায় ৩০০০! এতো টাকা দিয়ে কালিম্পং এর খুব ভালো জায়গায়, ভালো হোমস্টে তে দুদিন অনায়াসে থাকা যায়! ওই রাস্তাতেই পানবুতে অনেক ভালো হোমস্টে আছে যারা ১৩০০-১৫০০ চার্জ করে থাকা খাওয়া নিয়ে।

30th December এখানে কাটিয়ে এলাম। ভালো দিক গুলোর সাথে একমত, কিন্তু কয়েকটা দিক জেনে রাখা ভালো।
১,নিজের চারচাকা নিয়ে রাস্তা থেকে পার্কিং পর্যন্ত খাড়াই ওঠে সহজ নয়। আমরা একবারেই পেরেছি কারন বছর কুড়ি পাহাড়ে গাড়ি ওঠানোর অভিজ্ঞতা আছ্র। ওওরাই বললেন যে অনেকেই পারেন না। পার্কিং-এ মাত্র একটা গাড়ি ( আমাদের টাটা সাফারি) রাখারই জায়গা আছে।
২ খাবারের কোয়ালিটি নিয়ে বেশ সমস্যা। ত্রিপুরা থেকে কয়েকজন ছিলেন, ডিনার দাঁতে কাটতে পারলেন না। আমরা কষ্ট করে খেয়েছি। দামের সাথে মানানসই নয়।
