Charkhole is an offbeat destination where the nature welcomes with its abundant beauties and varieties. It’s a very small village on the hilltop and indeed can be declared as a paradise of the Eastern Himalayas.
Charkhole located at an altitude of 5500 ft above the sea level. Neora Valley National Park covers the place with lush green forest with the trees of towering Pine, Oak, Shal, Cypress, Rhododendron etc.
Charkhole is only disturbed by the chirping sound of numerous birds like Blue Fronted Redstart, Indian Robin, Green Backed Tit, Pippit, Ashley Prinia, Verditer Flycatcher, Himalayan Bulbul and may others make the place as one of the most favourite destinations for bird watchers.
Charkole is 86 kms from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and 96 Kms from Bagdogra Airport, from Kalimpong 35 kms.
There are very few homestays to stay in Charkhole, but If you love the peaceful ambiance of the hills. View of Kanchenjunga, Then Charkhole Ratna Aditya birding homestay is perfect place for you.

The property is just awesome but service is very bad……. The room where we stayed was not cleaned properly.. the washroom’s water literally comes out into our room.. the food quality and test wasn’t good.. overall experience was bad….. I didn’t suggest to stay there…..
very unfortunate.but my experience was totally opposite.☺️

We went there in last winter. Excellent hospitality, amazing food( both taste wise and quality wise) , height of cleanliness, excellent interior and exterior. Unforgettable memory.

কিছু মনে করবেন না । চারখোলের হোমস্টের কাছেই লাগানো একটা flex এ অন্য নম্বর দেখলাম। আবার মন্জুশ্রীর ম্যানেজার সুনন্দ সাহার কনট্যাক্ট নম্বর দুটো ভিডিও তে পেলাম। আপনার ভিডিও তে আবার অন্য একটা নম্বর পাচ্ছি। এখন দিনকাল ভালো নয় । বেড়াতে গিয়ে অযথা ঝামেলা এই বয়সে ভাল লাগে না। আপনার ওপর বিশ্বাস আছে বলেই সরাসরি জিজ্ঞেস করলাম।
