Delhi is Becoming more and more international with its World Class projects. Today we are covering the Beautification of Delhi Roads on Inner Ring Road of Delhi covering Naraina to Dhaula kuan stretch going through Delhi Cantt Road. Its a 4.5Kms long Walk.

In India governments make such projects. But the difficult part is maintaining it. Especially the plants. I hope Delhi maintains this beautiful walkway and keep it as it is.
It's given to private company at annual maintenance payment. If aap stays it will be maintained if bjp congress comes it will be taxed or not maintained because bjp congress will demand commission for extending contract.

Ok lets do some math's, most populated European city is berlin which has population density of 10690 people per square mile, while Delhi has 29252 people per Square mile. You want to promote walking, then build good parks, I mean I don't want to walk in a shit weather and near toxic fumes of vehicles unless I am in much cleaner EU city. In my opinion On roads like that there should only be just a cycling track nothing more. Now coming to the road in this video, there is nothing along the road where you would walk to, it just a main road which connects a bunch of different localities. unlike EU city that has offices and residential building in the same block.

All loose soil sidewalks must be paved with precast concrete or stone like this. This will reduce dusting to an extent and make proper urban places.

Metro & buses will get more patrons if walking infra is in place. Wish there was scope for retail kiosks in and around metro stations and bus stops. Delhi is the only place where road side parking is fortunately restricted. Road side parking is the biggest nuisance ever.
