Best PRO Tips to GET GOOD in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

- Today I'll be providing the best tips to improve in online (and competitive) play. Much of these tips are what I used to go from a scrub starting in Mid-2021 to becoming a top pro by the start of 2023. If I knew all these tips ahead of time I could've improved even faster :)
HOW TO JOIN LOUNGE:
1) Join the Lounge Server: / discord
2) Create a Mario Kart Central Account: www.mariokartcentral.com/mkc/
3) Go to #verification-eng (if other language use that one) in the lounge server and follow the directions to receive your rank role.
4) Use /c in #queue-join and !c in #sq-join (look in #sq-info for when squad queue happens) whenever you would like to play (12 races - usually takes 45 minutes - 1 hour). All matches start at every hour or :00

Hey Gyro, quick question, do u usually see ur mistakes in race right after, or would u recommend reccording my driving and try to analyse it after?
With your last tips I was able to climb back to 1000 vr in worldwides. With these I hope to reach 100 mmr in lounge. Wish me luck

@@gyrodos8dx I had to get my charging cord after race 3 and I stubbed my toe leaving me unable to complete the mogi. I lost my last 14 mmr and picked up a strike in the process. I blame you.

would i be hated for playing lounge if my wifi on the switch was never higher than 2 bars?
I am currently at 15k vr online, should I start playing lounge or should I improve to 20k before playing? I don’t feel like I am ready for lounge tbh.

@@Xris10BUL you are way more ready than you think, I started after hitting 10k, you'll learn really fast
I started at almost exactly 15k and was able to hold my own in iron and eventually make it to bronze, and enjoyed it a lot more than online
