When I was getting married, I could not recognise my wife at all, until she stood next to me as I never saw her full length hair (very long) and made up like a beautiful princess. We are still married after 23 years.

I luv to bring luv and laughter to others. I got my mother and her boyfriend with a buzzer in my hand. Then I went down to my 94 yr old neighbor, who is French and a Russian translator from WW2 and she slapped my hand and and laughed so hard.

The marine being gone for 7 years....I need context. Was he literally the worst son in existence for not contacting his family? Was he a POW trapped behind enemy lines? Why the no contact?

Im confused about the marine? I don't understand how she thought he was dead for 7 years, where was he that he couldn't let her know or how did ot go past the military? Was he MIA? If so in that case why was he presumed dead? I mean im glad she had a happy ending no doubt, im just curious as to the circumstances.

Instead of commenting stuff like this, try sitting down with him and tell him how you're feeling or it'll just get worse with him. Strangers on the internet aren't the best for this type of stuff especially when it's YOUR relationship, not theirs. You're the only one who can change it. If you do sit down with him and get nowhere, then yeah do what Elizabeth said and leave, you don't need to be stuck in a relationship you're not happy with but you also shouldn't expect a man to shower you with gifts, an engagement ring, etc most couples could be together for well over 10-15 years and never get engaged or married but they still love eachother. My brother was with his now late wife for almost 30 or more years and weren't married until a few years ago and they have 3 children (from how they acted and loved eachother I actually thought they were always married until my dad told me they weren't). You don't need a ring or gifts to be together or love someone. Go out and treat yourself.

@@judykoeppelswas8231 A lot of animals that are given as gifts, end up in Murder Pounds and are never adopted and are PTS, because someone got tired of them. I adopted 10 from murder pounds, that were on the list and had previous owners....
