With all these surprising people with pets they didn't know they were getting, one has to wonder... 🤔 what if the people receiving the pets can't afford them; can't afford to feed them, take them to the vets, have enough house space & yard space outside for them once they get bigger... 🤔😰 how many of these beautiful animals actually end up in a shelter once the newness & cuteness wears off ?? 🤔😰

Friendly reminder that, despite how this video is, getting someone you do not live with a pet without their permission is a dick move. You are signing them up for at least a decade of commitment without permission. This is a VERY common reason that animals end up in shelters. A pet is a lifetime commitment and it's not cute or nice or sweet to force someone into it by giving them a living, breathing animal as a gift. (Your kids and your partner are obviously exceptions)
