At 7:20 you mentioned about fuzzy edges after ironing. Cura got crucial modifier for that called "Ironing Inset". That modifier let you set the distance how far from the edge the ironing should finish (in milimeters od fraction of milimeter). It basically eliminates the problem with fuzzy edges. This is extremely important, especially on objects with rounded edges. This video was prepared 2 years ago for PrusaSlicer 2.3. Now we have official 2.6 version and equivalent of that function is still not present in PrusaSlicer. Do you think about solution to "fuzzy edges" on ironed objects and when can we expect it?

Earlyer this Year you talked about non planar slicing and if its worth it. A good start would be to enable such a feature for just the last few layers. You wouldnt have to modify your printer with a longer nozzle and you could cover the print steps on almost-planar areas. that would be a big increase to prints that have round tops like heads or so.

Another thing to keep in mind when ironing that I discovered playing around with one of the alphas of 2.3, make sure you have plenty of top layers and/or the top layers are well supported. I did a sample print with very few top layers (3 I think) and because the nozzle spends so much time going over the top that it became soft and started to droop a little between the support of the infill.

What's the ETA for the MAC version to have ironing?

I downloaded 2.3.0-rc1 for Mac. You can switch ironing on but it doesn't do any ironing.

They're very like the spool holder that comes with the Mini, but apear to be laser cut.

Ooh the old Star Trek badge. I liked the 30th century ones better though, cause they are tricorders personal transporters and some holographic screen thing too.

Great feature, but I’d like to keep my nozzle as clean as possible. This sounds like it will get dirty real quick because it’s just scraping over the layers over and over again.

why is ironing not showing up in Prusa Slicer software? I just updated to 2.1.1, but in advanced mode it's not there. Is this not available on the Mac version?

I think the ironing function is available in 2.3.0 and higher :)
