OMG! My husband and I went on that back in March! It was fun learning some of the history of New Orleans When we went there was no jazz band and they were serving lunch so it was a different menu. I totally agree that seeing the city from on the Mississippi River is one of the best ways to see it! My husband and I also went to the outlet mall and stayed at the hotel that the outlet mall is connected to. Watching this brings back so much memories from back in March of this year. I need another dose of New Orleans already It was some of the most relaxing days we had on vacation. I have a whole new appreciation of New Orleans, the culture and the food
Such an amazing step back into the history of New Orleans (and the Mississippi valley) First paddlewheel got to New ORleans in 1812 and they have been an important part of the city ever since.
I've done beer and pizza cruises on the Mississippi River on paddle wheel ships multiple times out of La Crosse, WI. The vlog is bringing back some fond memories.
I actually teared up for you guys & us when you spoke of the wind, the smell of the water. We miss cruising so much. We will never take that luxury for granted ever again. This is my retirement year, we had planned to do a Mediterranean cruise since I’m Italian. It will have to be postponed. Oh well, gives me more time to get that COVID 19 weight gain off ;) Stay well & enjoy the 2021 summer!
Here in Branson Missouri, we have a paddle boat called Branson Belle that cruises the lake...its a lunch/dinner and a show. The only downside is that you don't get alot of time to explore but I think its about 3 hours all together! Its fun if you have never been, we do it at least once a year!💜
Great video! I love your 'back to cruising' smiles. We did a 7 day Mississippi River cruise (New Orleans to Memphis) on the Mississippi Queen that was nothing short of amazing!
we went on the Creole Queen years ago for a dinner cruise, we took the amtrak down to NO got engaged on the train on the way down, and had a terrific weekend with great friends way back in 1998. definitely want to go back
Yay! River cruise is so much fun. Beautiful view of New Orleans. Brunch looks amazing and delicious 🤤 I want some. Can’t wait for your next vlog. Happy Friday my friends! ❤️
Jazz brunch cruise. You filmed the eggs Benedict my favorite. All looks amazing to me. Cheryl & I will definitely do this when we return to New Orleans. Planning for September 2022 for our anniversary.
I love your videos 😍 and because of them I decided New Orleans is going to be my summer trip this year. So I'll be seeing these sights come July and I'm already making my list of things I want to do.
In Galveston,Texas, we have a diesel electric paddlewheeler called the "Colonel" it looks JUST like the Creole Queen (i think they were both made by the same company.)
I'm so happy for you guys especially doing that Riverboat Cruise. Yes I know it was only 2 hours but what fun! I miss cruising so much. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up on a cruise one day soon. Keep up the fantastic videos.
Last time we were in NOLA, we decided not to get on the Creole Queen because we were going on the NCL Getaway for a one week cruise anyway. Next time, we will try the Creole Queen just to experience it.
Unfortunately as much as I wanted to enjoy that cruise with my two children nearly 27 years ago, my one year old started with an ear ache/infection as soon as we boarded. My six yr old and I spent the entire time trying to sooth him and comfort him to no avail, we never ate nor really paid attention to music, and we tried to stay away from the crowds. He screamed in pain nearly the entire 2 hrs and I couldn’t wait to get off to get him medical attention. And as I was getting off so many people were saying hateful things, like “can’t you get him to shut up”! It was awful! Guess it’s only left me with a bad memory and I never went back on the cruise. After seeing your video, I think I’ll try it again.
Loving this series ❤️ we are booked to visit New Orleans next year from UK to celebrate my big birthday before boarding the breakaway so will be rewatching that series too 😃
That river cruise looks amazing. Next time I go to N.O. I hope to do that. I can’t wait to go cruising again either. We already have a cruise booked for January out of Galveston and another one out of Miami in May. Bon Voyage!
Talkin about that bad hair day goin on...Everyone here in Bristol and Blountstown, Florida after Hurricane Michael torn up our area, all looked the same because none of us had water or electricity for weeks...lol Aaaaa togetherness. LOL
You should check out the Natchez or The City of New Orleans, they are both real steamboats and a lot larger than the Creole Queen. The food is better on those two as well.
I don’t know if you guys are animal lovers or not. The next time you’re in New Orleans see if you can go visit Tia Torres with pit bulls and parolees I really love that lady and what she stands for
It won't be long now. We did a cruise up the Mississippi. Omg I'm 61 and i was the youngest one Lolo. It was nice to just decompress..read a book..and mingle. We tried to lighten it up in the Piano bar but no one was interested Lolo. Enjoy NO..see ya on the high seas soon
It was very relaxing. They had activities..and shore time..room was awesome..with balcony . We had breakfast in out room every day. Yall would love it..
Grits are ground up corn. It’s like a hot cereal and can be served up sweet or savory. It’s very versatile and delicious. Some people like their gumbo more soupy and some like it more thick like a stew. I prefer mine a little more on the soupy thinner side.
It’s not a real cruise but it’s probably the best we’ve got at the mo. I’ve done one of those boat trips in Berlin but never thought of doing it in New Orleans. I think the CDC/the White House are worried that the Caribbean will be the main cruise ship ports so I think it won’t be long until cruising starts again in America!!!
Jason, I will save your marriage... Any time you find yourself confronted with that many women (like in the opening) I will do my diligence to sacrifice myself to them, for you and your marriage... If anything should happen that would jeopardize your relationship with Alisa, like having to sleep with all those women at once, I will step in and bear that burden for you... No need to thank me... I see it as my civic, and Veteran, duty to not allow your marriage to fail...

It was really nice of you both to say what you did on Sean's Celebration of Life. That was sad but nice to watch in support of Steph.
I've done beer and pizza cruises on the Mississippi River on paddle wheel ships multiple times out of La Crosse, WI. The vlog is bringing back some fond memories.
LaCrosse Queen!!!!
Julia Belle Swain!!!
Been on both!

...keep planning your future cruises tho ... heck you could see New Orleans first then bord ship there return for more New Orleans food ...
I just did the Same River Boat 🚢 and Hop on hop off bus tour and we also just stayed on the bus and saw the city of New Orleans. I love them both💗
I’m thinking of traveling to New Orleans next weekend with the family. This was one of the things I wanted to do. Thanks for the video!
You guys are a beautiful couple! So inspiring! Keep doing what you do. I love it

Great video! I love your 'back to cruising' smiles. We did a 7 day Mississippi River cruise (New Orleans to Memphis) on the Mississippi Queen that was nothing short of amazing!
It was so good to be back on the water!
We enjoyed watching the River boat cruise & hop on hop off bus tour, this has inspired us to try when international travel is allowed again.🙂
Food looks good and ship looked fun!!
Looks amazing...thanks for sharing

This a cool cruise. I went on this one back in 2004, but we did the dinner cruise. We need to go back soon.
The river cruise looks great.
Looks like fun. We have added that brunch river boat cruise to our bucket list. Thanks guys.
There is also a river cruise in Minneapolis MN. Reminds me a lot of this. So fun.
I love your videos 😍 and because of them I decided New Orleans is going to be my summer trip this year. So I'll be seeing these sights come July and I'm already making my list of things I want to do.
Good choice, you will have a wonderful trip!
Have fun
I hope there will be cruise ships there by August! I have my first ever cruise booked Aug 29, leaving from New Orleans!!
In Galveston,Texas, we have a diesel electric paddlewheeler called the "Colonel" it looks JUST like the Creole Queen (i think they were both made by the same company.)
Ty for sharing! ❤️ I would love to do that one day!
I'm so happy for you guys especially doing that Riverboat Cruise. Yes I know it was only 2 hours but what fun! I miss cruising so much. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up on a cruise one day soon. Keep up the fantastic videos.

Awesome
We tried to book a dinner cruise on this paddle boat last time we were there but they were completely booked. Now I can’t wait to go
back and do this!
You should visit Craig Tracy's gallery in the French Quarter
Love the vlog 💕❤as always.

Oh no, that is awful!! I hope you get to try again with a better experience.
Great tour too!
Looks like fun
Loving this series ❤️ we are booked to visit New Orleans next year from UK to celebrate my big birthday before boarding the breakaway so will be rewatching that series too 😃
going to New Orleans this summer with the kids (my niece and nephew) plans got messed up last summer. I love new Orleans! #NOLA
That river cruise looks amazing. Next time I go to N.O. I hope to do that. I can’t wait to go cruising again either. We already have a cruise booked for January out of Galveston and another one out of Miami in May. Bon Voyage!
Louisiana is my next year trip, sorry this year already had plans. Thank you for sharing your video.👍❤️✈️🇺🇸
Love the hair. Should of seen ours in Destin Florida on the Dolphin tours lol
Talkin about that bad hair day goin on...Everyone here in Bristol and Blountstown, Florida after Hurricane Michael torn up our area, all looked the same because none of us had water or electricity for weeks...lol Aaaaa togetherness. LOL
I came from the video of you guys at a world war 2 museum, so I wanted to check to see what you guys where doing now
Just past you on I12

$2.59 for gas!! Over $4.00 in Southern California.
It's been to long since I was there.

Hi,
Do you know what kind of radio I can listen to get some local new of new orleans please ? I am french guy and I really love that city.
Is the GoPro an easy camera for a beginner to use for a camera
I want to
I love your videos and am about to purchase the the exact same RV, we have 5 year old, does the dinette seats have a tether anchor for car seats?
There are seatbelts in the dinette, but I am not sure about a tether. But I am sure one could be added.
I want to book this so bad but I can't swim. Life jackets???
You guys booked on any cruises?
Yep we are actually going on one pretty soon 😉
Hi Guys, looked like you had a fab time. What are grits? Is it a stew or a sauce? I think gumbo is a stew isnt it?
Grits are ground up corn. It’s like a hot cereal and can be served up sweet or savory. It’s very versatile and delicious. Some people like their gumbo more soupy and some like it more thick like a stew. I prefer mine a little more on the soupy thinner side.
Ah! Everyday is a school day as they say. Thank you from the 🇬🇧
What street did you catch thr bus on
Canal Street
I’m sorry I am from Australia what are grits?
Its ground corn. It is almost like a hot cereal that you can sweeten up or make it more savory. It’s very versatile and delicious!
@@EECCTravels thank you, I always enjoy your videos. When we can cruise again you should look into cruising from Hawaii to Australia 😀
Enjoyed the video but no okra, no gumbo.
👍🏻
So Jason, you are not drinking a bloody Mary or a Mamosa.… Just pointing out facts
So far , I'm not!
If you ever come to NH, try going on the Mt.Washington in the lakes region.
Thought u all were in the Carolinas
Nope, we have not been there yet.
Are they asking if you're vaccinated?
No one asked, but we had our cards with us.
Ps. I love the okra. Lol
Love y'all. But "gumbo" without okra is just soup. Just saying.
Oh you have to try Jason’s gumbo!!
Impressive, but I am a native of Savannah, Ga. Much older city. No high rises in the historic distrinct.
New Orleans founded 1718; Savannah 1733
Jason, I will save your marriage...

Lol 😂
I went on a smaller boat trip in New Orleans that went thru the locks into byoou great trip
