I saw this in person that day of natties. I was on the turn where the forrest park runner falls, they were so angry because they were supposed to win over Union Catholic and based on what they ran at the VA state meet they would have won by a lot. it just got to them knowing a team who was running outdoors already screwed up their chance of qualifying
He ran himself into the rail. I've watched it several times and can't see the other team doing anything wrong. To top it off, his teammate hits the guy into other teams who had nothing to do with the spill ruining their races as well for no reason. Not that it matters but I'm not sure how his team wasn't DQ'd for that.
@@Laquaviont I get what you're saying but I don't see him trying to cut him off. I admit he does get close to him around the turn but I don't see him actually make contact with him or trying to cut him off (he's next to him or maybe even slightly behind at that point). Cutting him off would need to entail him breaking in front of the other guy before he had a stride lead causing the other running to break stride. I don't see that happening during that leg.
Matt McWilliams-Brousseau My point is he never made contact but still made him fall because he boxed him out and him trying to avoid contact moved in and ended up slipping on the rails
You could really see some aggression in that race.

No it’s not that he pushed him he kept trying to cut him off so he tried to avoid getting pushed
