    The list has been slightly updated with quality-of-life improvements! However, the core and purpose of the deck remain the same.

      Whats the goal with arcane lantern in your current version of the deck list? I tried to make it work with nullrune gloves for a while at AB 2 in prep for all the looming doom in my meta but it felt really bad to not have two daggers. Id also been sideboarding oasis respite for the really grindy guardian match ups and for the ocassional kano. At this point Im using nullrune gloves and boots for my AB 2, but Id be curious to hear about your thought process there!

    I play Fai but I am looking to use a new hero and I was to give this guy a try! Can't wait!

    Woo! Arakni content! Deck looks like fun. So are you primarily looking to win through damage or through mill/fatigue? or does it depend on matchup?

    • @TCGTALKYT
      @TCGTALKYT  Před 6 měsíci

      Really the game plan doesn’t change. Against certain aggro matchups yeah, you have to really sometimes take damage to deal damage but overall you fatigue through threats, not through blocks.

    I've been messing around with Down but not Out in Arakni. You have a lot of control over your equipment and token numbers, but requires several slots to make work.
    Unsure if the ratio of cards required to generate plague tokens for your opponent is worth it, but when it hits it is glorious. It gives you another Coercive style turn with a cheaper, buffed GO AGAIN attack.
    Luckily the traps are good and Spreading Plague can be devastating in this meta with heroes opting to block their whole armor kit on a single attack to keep their hand.
    As a note though, I don't have Command and Conquers or Enlightened Strikes so I have a few slots to be creative😅

      That’s awesome. I’ve heard a couple people talking about that card and how much they like it so I can see that 100% especially if you’re using it as a replacement for the other cards.

    Out of curiosity, what matchups do you recommend siding in Graven Call in? I personally have it as a dagger to concealed blade in, but I'm wondering what matchups it's worth it to main-board in.
    One more question, why Scale Peeler over Orbitoclast? I personally run Orbitoclast primarily for against warriors so I'm curious why Scale Peeler?
    Overall, I like the deck! I'm definitely going to use it as inspiration for my own (primarily those Erase Faces and Sigil of Solaces). It unfortunately reminds me that I really need a playset of C&C's and Enlightened Strikes. I currently just have 1 C&C I pulled and no E Strikes lol

      Graven is mained into guardian and dromai for me. For scale, it’s good into kassai who I see being the main warrior. You also still have nerve scalpel which affects their att and d reacts. But you get the benefit of them using their fridge less effectively.

    • @treymond4611
      @treymond4611 Před 6 měsíci

      What is fridge? Otherwise that all makes sense. Swap out Scalpel for Graven (I assume) into guardian just to get out some extra damage and make things a bit more annoying in fatigue.

      @@treymond4611 we refer fridge as equipment armour. Valiant dynamo is really strong for Kassai.

    Hello. What do you do against the bravo matchup? Its so difficult as arakni

    • @TCGTALKYT
      @TCGTALKYT  Před 6 měsíci

      So hard honestly! I say it’s a 40/60 matchup at best. You have to really be aggressive with your attacks and reactions. Pitch away your d reacts and unmovables so their second cycle dominates don’t get you as bad.
      Graven call can also put in work if you can get it back. Just don’t flick it away until you get the two silver.

    Does Arakani have any success with Censor with how often he is looking at the top card?

    • @TCGTALKYT
      @TCGTALKYT  Před 6 měsíci

      They look every time he attacks so pretty often. Censor isn’t too bad it just doesn’t outweigh the other attacks in their kit
