I'm so glad that Rising Star was given a chance to live his best life. He seems so happy! Great to see how easily he can stand up, and that he can balance on three of his legs now.
I love to see rhem all but it's very special to still have Rising Star. Thank you Yvonne for giving him opportunities for more treatments.
Spirited Risey seems to be the one keeping little Spidey in line, he felt like a dad teaching his mischievous son lessons due to the houdini stuff. Afterwards, they have to bear each other's presence during the meal. 😅

A huge congratulations to Oda on Hester's baby!!! So happy for her. Everyone is looking good. Risey is a happy boy. He's so calm for his hugs. Yfke is absolutely a sweetheart. Blomke is a complete rascal/bofke. Belle is a darling. When you were on the road and Rentje was eating grass I thought, I could sit there all day listening to birds and watching boats float by. Very peaceful and serene.
There's something wonderfully comforting about observing the day to day caring for these beautiful creatures. I love Yvonne's affection for them and their obvious acceptance of it and even sometimes returning it. The late night with sleepy Risey was cute.

Risey's contentment and peace in Yvonne's presence is palpable. It's so good to see. Daisy is a funny old pony but while she might fuss about her cart pulling duties I think it's probably very good for her mentally and physically. Yfke as always is a beautiful girl.
The girls are doing a great job training Daisy on the cart, what a great help they are. As always, love Risey and seeing him lift his front legs so easily is great.

Gorgeous profile photos of Lady Reintje. Excited to see the birth video(s?) of her foal. Sweet Risey, I love it that he still cuddles with Yvonne, almost like when he was a foal. So special. Glad things are going well with his pal Spidey, so that he gets to socialize up close. As much as I want to see Geertje and Leanne, I think it's a wise decision not to make videos of them anymore. Reintje is beautiful and seeing the foal move was great and Yfke. Beautiful, Correlle and Belle and Saly and Bloomke, the herd st Stal H is growing. We miss our Queen Uniek but we have Belle to remind us. Risey is lovely, still!
Complete horse care includes regular trims. Have you guys given more thought to using a shoot? Picking Risey's foot up for a split second is dangerous, not only for him, but you as well. He can't keep that hoof up long enough for you to even pull out a pick. Please stay safe, when a horse suddenly loses his balance, even farriers have trouble getting out of the way. I know this b/c my father and brothers are all farriers and I grew up spending hours upon days and years tagging along. eta: What's the vet's view or advice on Risey's foot care situation?
I'm sure he gets his feet tended to. she wasn't picking it, just showing that he could lift it without falling now
@@toodleloos Maybe she's showing that he's comfortable with her picking it up for a second? That hoof hasn't been cleaned out in a while. I'll gladly eat my words if that's not the case.
He used to really hate anyone touching his legs, but now he has improved his balance, he's happy to lift one up - if only momentarily. I'm sure that when she does start having his feet done she'll take whatever advice her farrier gives her re: his balance/possible danger 😊
@@okamanokama Trimming is essential care, but even lifting his hooves for a second is clearly dangerous. Hopefully he doesn't fall on her in the meantime.

Risey is so sweet! Belle still doesn’t like ears touched! Yfke will always have a close bond with you, it was so cute when she used to come running across the field to you for her pail of milk.
Yvonne and Risey, congratulations for being able to stand on three legs. This brought tears to my eyes. Yvonne, all your working with him is paying off. The way he effortlessly pops up to stand up after sleeping is another extremely great sign.
I pray for him and you every day. It's so wonderful to see his improvement it's just heartwarming.

Reintje is wondering why there are boats going through the pasture. I love watching the foals run and play. Daisy is doing good pulling the cart. All of the ponies look good. Love Puck,Skittles, Bibi and Shiney. But when Risey laid his head on your(Yvonne)knee like he use to as a baby ,I got a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat. He's doing so much better.
