That happened to joe deary last year and he was messing with that as well and got it working. I have the k7.3 as well and have had no.problems thankfully. Pressure wash products customer service is second to none. They have pump specialists there that have been very helpful in the past
I am having this same issue. Thank you for making this video. I thought i just needed a new unloader. Got the new one installed and it did the same exact thing.

Did the engine rpm’s go up and down during use or just when in bypass mode? Please help
Do you know where I can pick up a #2 orifice? My 7.3 was surging so I took it off and put my old vrt-3 on because of the headache
To be honest I can’t even remember where i purchased it 🤦🏻♂️
Too much flow in your bypass line. I put a quick connect in the end of my line and put some hose clamps on it an it fixed mine right up.
I switched the bypass orifice on my k7 and it worked. 👍🏻
The k7 is finicky and problematic at best (my opinion) I’ve been running the zk1 for a while now and I really like it
Collapsing suction line?
No
Suction screen partially clogged?
No
Not sure if this is solved. See powerful improvements Joe Deary videos. He solved this problem
Yup fixed it a while ago 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
you have a debris / blockage in unloader
Nope. Wrong size orifice
If it’s still surging , could be you have a bad O ring in one of the check valves on pump.
No I fixed it,it was the bypass nipple. I switched from a #3 to a # 2 orifice
@@johnthe_don how long after you installed the Flowpro, did this pulsing start happening to you?
@@kerrybenoit I figured it out, it was my unloader bypass size was to big.
@@johnthe_don how long have you had the machine running the #3 nozzle?
@@kerrybenoit I left it running like that for about a month
