- This is my first drive-through video in Kaduna. I was kind of rusty but as the drive proceeded, I felt better doing the video as so many places have changed and it made me happy to see my state looking good.

Lived in Kaduna North from 1968-1973 and went to Sacred Heart School in Kaduna South. My dad’s company laid on a VW Combi with driver to take us kids to school and back. I was dying to recognise something on here but didn’t. We used to go over a bridge over the river and we lived on Gwari Avenu adjacent to a railway track. Not far away on the other side of the track was my dad’s works: Norspin, a cotton spinning factory and Kukuri Hospital. I’ve tried using Google maps to see where we used to live but Gwari Avenue doesn’t seem to come up.
These were very happy days for me. 😊
Wao so nice to hear your story.
Gwari Avenue is a very beautiful place then and now. I wish I was still in Kaduna, I would have done a drive through Gwari Avenue for you to see. You know what, I will do this drive anytime I visit Kd again. Thank you for commenting and I hope you have subscribed to my channel and hit the bell icon so you don't miss my new video.
@@Bigwillz I wonder if we’re talking about the same Gwari Avenue? It was near some apartment blocks where Chinese expats from Hong Kong lived and there was also a Japanese compound and a German social club nearby. I don’t know if the different nationalities still occupy the apartment blocks but it was a great time for me as an English kid from darkest Oldham meeting such a diverse mix of people. Broadened my horizons until in 1975 my dad got a job in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) and we regressed to colonial rule again. 😔
this videos of kaduna really woke me up from my psychological sleep it reminded me of who i am and where i am from, while been away from the country
I'm glad it did.😍
Really brought back good memories, every thing is changed. I was there from 1963 to 1973,Capital School Kaduna then St John's College, Kaduna Polytechnic, (Rimi College). Had a mobylette and I would ride it all over town. Bliss. Best days. Thanx for vid. Love to see more such Kaduna vids.
👍👍👍
A state that has marked the history of Northern Nigeria. I liked it, plus it is constantly developing, it shows that these authorities are working tirelessly. Thank you 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲
You are welcome. It's very true, the state is constantly developing.💕👍
@@Bigwillz you are doing a very remarkable job my dear. I encourage you. Well done, thank you.
@@mouhamadouaminou477 thank you 🙏 bro
Kaduna looking good under El Rufai. He will demolish shops erected along the road that disorganize the city. We really need him again as FCT minister for some demolitions!
🙏🙏🙏
I remember when, we in Abuja had to go to Kaduna regularly, as the next nearest city after Suleja, to buy household items. I never missed attending the annual trade fair
That's so true, it was a lot cheaper to buy things in Kaduna than Abuja. Even if it's still so, lots of people won't because of the road conditions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Alphonse
Don't think u want to be commuting between Abuja & Kaduna today.
First time i'm seeing a Kaduna City driving video. Nice one Bigwillz.
Bro, are you back in Abuja? Saw some videos you posted was wondering if you were in town.
@@Bigwillz I'm still in lagos. Those are the videos I made in a few days while I was still in Abuja. I still have a few to go. Lol.
OK make sense.
Oya na, Afam, Kaduna, should be your next destination.. lol..
Thanks Bigwillz.
It's good to see kaduna, it reminds me of good memories in Kaduna.

@@nonsomomah1968 Really? If you have a picture of it, can you share with me so I can try and find it. Whatsapp 07037448151
BRO U BETTER BE CAREFUL OVER THERE, U KNOW HOW VOILENT THEY CAN BE, ESP TOWARDS SOUTHERNERS
It's not always as bad as we read in the papers.
This is a very disappointing comment. You are bringing your hate to this wonderful channel.
Most NYSC corpers from the South don't go back after their service year.
There are more people from the South on the north than Vice-versa.
@@Watermonkey695, you are right. Most stay behind after youth service.
You must be a bigot. The content creator is a northerner besides, you have more than 3 million Southerners living in Northern Nigeria. I can bet there are less than 200k Northerners living in the South. You are nothing but an agent of hate/destruction..
@@moham.279
There are more than twenty million people of the southern descent in the north and far more than twenty million people of Northern descent in the South.
It's a country. You're not talking about a village. I lived in Maiduguri of the past. Not Boko Haram Maiduguri and I had a huge bundle of fun. But, you can't stop sceptics who live within the auspices of their parents, without any rational reflections. You can do absolutely nothing about it.
Having said that, there are wicked people who are hostile against Southerners in the North. But there are also wicked people in the South, who can be hostile against anyone, who can even use human beings for rituals in the South. There are wicked people everywhere and anywhere on Earth. It's our duty to be reasonable in all our walks. People like that fellow may never have gone beyond his State or home Town.
The rates of kidnapping in the SE and killings there, without recourse to even uniformed services is terrible. The rates of armed robberies in the SS is unfathomable. And the rates of ritual murders in the SW is shameful to explain, whilst killing by Herdsmen and Boko Haram in the North is unacceptable. So, it's everywhere.
The one thing we must not tolerate is religious stupidity. If someone burns a Koran, or pisses on Koran, or Bible, how is that my problem? If the Idiot pisses or tears the page of my Bible, then it's a serious offence, because, it's my own Bible.
But, if he uses his own money to buy a Bible, or a Koran, and chooses to piss on it, or tear it, that should be his own damn business.
At least not mine. That's how we should think, and not let allow emotions to becloud our intents.
We have beautiful country which GOD has blessed us with, and very dynamic population who are determined to succeed. We must all work together to see the good in one another, rather than down and negative.
Goodluck
Do you know why they have divided Kaduna into 2 States?
Do you mean Kaduna North and south? If that's what you mean, I think it's for development as the state gets more revenue with each local government area. The more the local government area, the more allocation they get from the federal government.
@@Bigwillz Ok, thank you.
Thanks for the videos, but guy whether it's Abuja or Kaduna you never seem to know where you are! Lol! Permanently bemused, why don't you go along the route first and familiarise yourself before shooting the video? Thanks for the uploads!
@ Ho waterbrd that would be boring to "go along the route first and familiarise himself" it's more fun to be surprised like we do and it also saves time and money.
@YO O'bon has said it all. 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏
@@Bigwillz lol! One time you said, "I'm turning left at the junction", then turned right! Fun videos tho. Keep practicing your kayaking lol.
@@yoobon5670 won't be boring at all, lol.
@@howaterbrd9563 hahahahahahah 😂 it happens bro.😂😂😂
My friend, I am sure U aren't from Kaduna State. You are just a visitor, the way you are blabbing, you aren't sure of where you are going and aren't even familiar with the roads and places in Kaduna. You should have been enlightened before embarking on your excursion visit to Kaduna.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you have no idea.
Check out my other KD videos maybe you will get a clue 😃😃
