The cast is awesome! I’ll probably check this out when it releases on streaming. I’m not the hugest fan of all of the cast members but I still think that they’re great and iconic regardless of my opinion. 😅

The first scene is gold. Then there is a bit of unnecessary telugu fanservice tomfoolery which bores/cringes you a bit. The interval block is gold.
The second half is amazing if you are familiar with Hindu history/mythology/culture, still good enough if you dont. I am Jewish and I liked it.
bIG Bacchan is SPECTACULAR in this one.
When you compare it to Hollywood, the CGI a few times can come off as imperfect, but most of the time the CGI and the set design, costumes etc look great. Must watch at least once in my opinion. It surely will serve as a milestone for 'big' films in the future of Indian Cinema.

Koi Mil Gaya is not a remake of ET at all. Koi Mil Gaya is based on the story Alien written by Satyajit Ray which Steven Spielberg copied.

This movie's story is inspired by Mahabharata and kalki puran.
Kalkin, final avatar (incarnation) of the Hindu god Vishnu, who is yet to appear. At the end of the present Kali yuga (age), when virtue and dharma have disappeared and the world is ruled by the unjust, Kalkin will appear to destroy the wicked and to usher in a new age.

For your information this is a blockbuster. Unlike the pathetic flop Brahmastra this is a blockbuster from day 1.
Just proves that Ranbir Kapoor is a kid in front of Prabhas in terms of Box Office and Stardom.
Also this is much better than many sci-fi movies from India and is a really promising one.
