Yes, it's a GoPro Hero 2. I haven't had that much trouble keeping it charged, mostly because I tend to go in and out of nature and never stayed outside of towns for too long. In the cases where I was away a bit longer, I always had a secondary battery to exchange. If you plan on hitchhiking, you might try a USB charger for cars, though how much you want to show off expensive stuff in the presence of strangers is ofcourse up to you.
