They are nothing alike.
Knuckles is based on a short snouted echidna
They are such beautiful animals.
Echidnas are awesome, but I think I love the platypus a tad more. They're both adorable.

I'm happy for chandler cause I heard he used to wakeboard professionally an in a few years he got so much animal knowledge to work at austraila zoo an be a part of the irwin family. Sounds like a dream to me. Bindi I'm happy she's healthy agin. Anyways I'm sorry for ranting.

This woman is absolutely excited about that echidna! 😊
She has that same enthusiasm. Her dad did the same with her brother. They both were built for being animal ambassadors but I guess you would. If your dad was Steve Irwin, Australia has some very unique types of animals and the platypus the Tasmanian devil and your kid are three that I can think of right out of the gate.

wonder if these little things would eat the dammed fire ants we have around here
I'm so selfish because I feel OLD seeing Steve's adorable offspring (I almost said "kids" but that's obviously incorrect at this point). Meanwhile the Aussie version of our American hedgehog is also cute, but not as adorable as ours 😜.
I confirm, there still this confusion between echidna and porkupine but the first one and the platypus are uniques mammals for one detail who is mentioned by Chandler! 😃
