I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been through this game. Sometimes I wish I could forget it completely so I could experience it all for the first time again
I just finished the final season a couple days ago and I was just in tears 😭
The way the game was set up. The music they used. Atmosphere as well is a big part. Even tho the game is old and the graphics are dark as fuck , I appreciate this game as mobile not a lot of games can pull something like this off!

Sandra seemed as though she was a great babysitter when she was alive. I bet that she truly sacrificed herself to save Clem when the Walkers came about. Despite having later became one.
Lee, Omid, Kenny, Pete, Luke, Alvin and Sandra all have one thing in common, they all died for Clementine

Seeing this makes me think about what Clem's life would have been like if the apocalypse hadn't come, a normal and peaceful life in which she would have grown and learned without having to adapt to so many horrible situations. Maybe it's more boring this way but seeing so many characters change and suffer makes you connect with them and want the best for them, even if we can never see them again.
Man just having chills down my spine, the idea of walking dead is scary and very sad, at any given day, while us people living out everyday normal lives spend time with families, go to work, not knowing that our lives were about to change for the worse

That’s crazy! I never even thought of it, but the hardened, grizzled, tough-as-nails badass that we know Clementine as, WOULDN’T EXIST. She was completely and irrevocably changed by the apocalypse.

This may have been the last time that Clementine would ever hear from her parents, but at least it was a meaningful moment. and to think her parents are the reason why Clem always wore her signature hat because it was pretty much all she had left of her parents.

I just finished season 4 yesterday (didn’t get spoiled). It was one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played. All I can say is thank you, Telltale and Skybound.

@@avengerslevelthreat8099: I have a reason for that. I was watching streamers react to the bite and someone said “oh, the axe cut is cutting off circulation” and it makes a ton of sense. Like, the reason Clem was turning so pale in the barn wasn’t because of the infection. It was because Minerva hit an artery or something and was making her lose a lot of blood or oxygen in her blood. I was wondering how Clem could survive so long after the bite and still not be completely infected but it definitely has to be that the cut was preventing the walker infection from going to the rest of her body fast enough.
It wasn’t the cut, its just that it was under an hour, lee was bitten for over an hour and passed out, Clem didn’t, she was just bleeding out
@@0neiros.: which begs another question. If Clem was turning pale from blood loss just from a cut on her leg, how could she have enough blood still after AJ completely cut off her leg?
@@shadowspector3611 Plot armor, the same way AJ suddenly remembered how to cauterize a wound and save clem, and clem somehow not dying of bloodloss or internal bleeding.
Clem was robbed of her childhood so when Aj was born and knowing both of his parents died she was going to do everything to keep him alive while teaching him survival and trying to give him a childhood
I know… I know 😭😭 now I’ve got tears in my eyes. It’s so sad, but I wish the game kept going, and that there was more to the story overall. Like how Kenny escaped from the walkers in season 1 trying to save Ben. Or more back story behind clem. Maybe seen more of ajs dad, Alvin. Idk. Just anything, anything really I’d be happy with. Especially Kenny, or lee related. Like if you stay with Kenny at the end of season 2, don’t go to Wellington and stay with Kenny. And how season 3 only had flashbacks with Kenny, or whoever you’re left with at the end of s2
I think another reason she took care of him was because Lee had shown her so much love and effection, and that she wanted to pass that on to another child
I wish Telltale didn't cut the scene in ANF where we see flashbacks of Sandra before she died

something that Clementine and OOT Link have in common is that they had to be mature VERY fast

The irony of Clementine seeing a raccoon in s1 and seeing one in s2, and then mike would eat the raccoon out loud is kinda funny imo. If only aj were to see a raccoon, then Clementine would have an answer like she did with the salt lick
Sequels coulda had a few more of these paralells if they went with it. I recall quite a few times where I got reminded of past things and almost anticipated them to "happen again", tho only the saltlick was actually ever brought up by Clem.
Now I get in season 2 when you’re hunting the rat coon at the civil war museum why she hesitated. Little details make the picture and game even more epic and sad

This game always makes me emotional. One of the best games of all time. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

A game has not made me experience emotion like this one did. Even though I feel sad whenever I remember it, I'd never want to forget.
The past 10 years have been utter hell for me. Maybe this is why I connect so deeply with Clem and Lee and all the others.

@@DomTheBomb one can hope. There are a lot of angles someone can take with storytelling for TWD, and the folks at sky bound are veterans in their craft, so maybe they’ll cook something up someday.
I would kill for a spin-off or DLC pack fleshing out locations or certain people of interest we meet before the main characters meet them (Crawford pre-fall, Macon, Savannah, Christa & Omid before they meet at the overpass, chuck) and explore new perspectives such as the military or whatnot and their failures, as the video game series doesn’t touch upon this. Resident Evil did this in the Ghost Survivors (take control of 4 side characters and different fates that weren’t explored further in base)
For now though, I think the series should rest and stay dormant, as the bar to live up to for a telltale series TWD game is very very high.
