Nahh y’all trippin. Season 2 was weak. The only things that carried season 2 was Clem, Kenny, Luke and Carver (he’s a good villain tbh). Season 2’s group was soft and stupid as hell. Plus, the group was all ass besides Luke and Pete. Jane was a sneaky bitch who looked out for herself. Honestly, I’d even put season 3 *only very slightly* above season 2.

@@ajayr7104 You can choose to do that if you don't shoot him, there is multiple endings with him surviving, sadly it doesn't really matter what ending you get for the last game.

God I fucking loved playing this series, so emotionally intertwined and interested in the story and characters. No game will give me the same level of post game depression like this series did. I don’t even want to play anything else. I truly felt connected to the story and the emotional roller coaster was unmatched. Devastating that I’ll never be able to play this game for the first time again.

Personally, I think Season 3 is super underrated. I loved Javier’s character and his relationship with his family and Kate. I think people get way to attached to old characters that they are not willing to give fresh new characters a chance but people need to understand that if you rely on just a handful of characters for multiple seasons without introducing something new, the story becomes boring.

@@s3d567 I do personally think it is the weakest season; however, I'm completely against those who outright say it is bad or awful.
My major griped with season 3 rely on how non-important are the secondary characters, and even the villains. All the focus is on Javi's family and conflicts (which I do very much like btw), but the rest of the characters feel more like decorations rather than actual characters you as the player should care about.
Finally, this is my personal opinion, this only would make the game better for me: They should've made a DLC for season 3 or a one of the chapters in the main game about Clementine and the gap between season 2 and 3. I would've eliminated all the flashback sequences in the main chapter, and dedicate that spare time on the secondary characters, because there would be a dedicated chapter for Clementines backstory during the time gap between seasons. This would've actually improved outcomes depending on each player's season 2 endings.
I think s1>s4>s2>s3

Its choices actually matter and can kill or not kill many characters, and it is a great tale of two brothers and what someone will do for their family.
I love how both Lee and Clem are both holding axes in the season one cover and season four cover. It shows how she is alike him as she is also caring for a small child

Michonne story is bland,idk why they made it into the game but that is the only TWD Telltales game that i really dislike. A New Frontier is decent tho because they manage to bring fresh story that still connect with the main TWD telltales.

Everybody's talking about some of the seasons were very good but me here noticing that the season 1 cover and the final season cover, In season 1 cover lee and clementine holding hands together to protect themselves by the walkers with a fire axe, In the final season cover clementine and Aj holding hands together but again protecting themselves by the walkers with a fire axe comparing to the season 1's cover.

I'd say it fell victim to the threequel quality phenomenon, but it had it's own charms and still didn't leave any plot holes in the story, at least ones that matter.

I'd say this is pretty fair, S1 will always be my favorite, and S2 has a place in my heart cuz it was the season I owned first and played the shit out of it. S1 really got me into storytelling in video games in general back in 2012, games have come and gone since then that have sorta tried to do the same thing but to significantly diminishing returns. The og last of us from 2013 got this perfect, I think those games coming out a year apart from each other helped gaming in a massive way from being media that was just a way to entertain teenagers, into an art form in itself. I can't say the same about games today tbh tho, I don't even know what to call it now.

Honestly 3 would have been way better if Javis choices actually mattered more and the choices weren’t bad. So many choices in that game were either bad or didn’t change how a character reacted or a scene played out.

I was lucky to have found this game series 2 weeks ago, so I didn't have to wait for the release of all seasons. I just played them all in 2 weeks. Obviously, season 1 is the best. I wasn't able to stop my tears; it was just a burst of emotions. I have never experienced such a strong reaction before. The second season is still good, not as good as the 1st season, but almost. The 3rd season is good for me too, but it is not as much of a drama since I don't care about the new characters. Their deaths didn't touch me at all. I was worried only about Clementine, and I think it was fun for me to play as Javi, a new Lee for Clem, and care about her. I wish they would make something like this again. The last season has good visuals and a good plot too, but this fake death of Clem only enraged me. It wasn't sad; I felt goddamn anger because it seemed like they were killing her just to create this stupid drama, similar to what happened with Han Solo in the new Star Wars movie. Luckily, TWD writers are not completely thoughtless to kill her off for the sake of such a cheap drama, as Disney's writers did.
I totally agree with you. Also there is a weird thing about Clem's fake dead. Like some developer of the game want to kill her off but later they just give up this idea.
Probably they wanted to show us that Clem mean so much to us in the end of story as pretend she died. This is really cruel way.

I think that s3 is best because your choices were more important than the other ones and story telling was amazing. I think clementine was the best of her in that season cause she was sad,angry and emotional at the same time
