- NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Korean pop music invaded Good Day New York on Wednesday with an exclusive interview and performance by singing sensation GOT7. The K-Pop group with millions of followers worldwide appeared for the first time on television in the United States.
Rosanna Scotto and Lori Stokes asked the guys to share something about themselves that their large fan base might not know.
Here were their answers:
Mark: "I have stitches on my chin... from riding bicycles and playing around... a long time ago."
JY: "I don't say 'I love you.' It's a little bit awkward and nervous. I love you guys."
Jackson: "I like to have a bubble bath and I like to do yoga. I stretch every morning."
YZ: "Ice cocoa. Chocolate with ice. Chocolate milk."
JB: He said in Korean, that he's having a tooth implanted.
Bam Bam: "My name, Bam Bam, is my real name. The Bam Bam character used to be the strong kid and my mom said she wanted her kid to be the strong, too, so she named me Bam Bam."
Young J: He said in Korean that he bought a record but doesn't have a turntable to play it.
MARKS SISTER SHOULD SET UP HER OWN COMPANY SHES BETTER THAN MOST COMPANIES 😂😂

In this entire interview I saw sides of the men I had not before. I was a fan. I'm a super fan now. I literally love them all. What a family they've got 😍
FOX 5 / Fox5NY.com I'm glad that you met them and had that funny and nice interview. What I saw was a group of very respectful, humble, sweet and funny young men that are great artists too. Their charisma, as always, was on top and watching that they actually understood and were speaking and laughing with you makes me realize that how hard working they are, seriously, the language wasnt a problem even tho just one of them is from LA. So yeah, I'm grateful that you all had fun, it's really such a bless to be part of their fandom coz is just like they said, the connection is more like friendship and we ahgases are a big international family. This was one of the better kpop interviews. Usually they are pretty cringy and at least the interviewers looked at their mvs before the show.

Was surprised with how good Jinyoung and Bambam's english is. Amazing boys 💋😍 Are they studying it?
jeng genny BamBam is fluent he has been working on English for years and has improved a lot. Jinyoung is conversational and has always had decent English skills he just wasn’t as confident speaking.
Bambam studied english just by communicating with Mark and Jackson. I remember his english wasn't as good as this one.
I think Jinyoung really studied hard. If you watch his ending speech in concert, he uses hard vocabulary and his grammas is good. And jinyoung said something in LA's Concert that amazes me. He said that he really feels the important of communication to fans.
JB also works hard for his english. He said in Fans (personal site for GOT7 communicating with fans personally) that he's studying english just for us.
Whoa guys so they've worked hard for it just for us fans.😍 I'm amazed bec it was first time for me to hear them speaking longer than 10 secs 😅 they're now good conversationalist. Proud ahgase here 😍
Jinyoung has always been equipped with skills in talking to English but he rarely shows it. He also reads a lot, so maybe that's why.

Great leader Namjoon no she doesn't work for the station. She saw that the fans started that hashtag trying to get the boys on the show, and Marks sister contacted Mark and told him to tell their agents or managers that hey New York wants u guys on Good Morning New York. So she just helped by letting her brother know what the fans did so he could talk to his team about it and get them on the show😄

Out of all the interviews they have had in America, I love these two interviewed the most. I think it’s because they honestly seem very interested and are very polite. I’m not saying that the others aren’t, it’s just these two seem genuinely excited and happy to meet them. They have some really great questions too
