The likes of Chelsea, PSG and Man City are modern powerhouses in football, not historical.

A lot of this is due to the high influence arsenal fans have (shown by its fan channel Aftv as well as countless other Arsenal fan channels) and the influence players that have played at the club have had. Even someone like Ozil is weirdly enough (not for me because Iâve always loved him even before Arsenal) considered a sporting icon because of his unique style, his massive following, his upbringing and his work as a humanitarian/ ambassador for the worlds biggest brands. This is only one example.
I will be completely honest, I can write an entire essay as to why Arsenal are factually actually an institution, even if they arenât as big as the likes of Madrid, Utd and Barca etc but it would take ages and you probably wouldnât read it because it would be INCREDIBLY long. Iâve done this a million times lol

They won the FA Cup in 97, the Cup Winners' Cup in 98, they finished third in the league 4 points behind treble winners Manchester United in the 1998/99 season and they went toe to toe witn Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the 2000 Champions League and then was in the final of the FA Cup of 2002.

Arsenal was actually relegated from the league back in 1912/13 playing as Woolwich Arsenal. Everton was also relegated twice, first in 1929/30 and then in 1950/51 season.

Chelsea were winning trophies before the money. FA Cup and Uefa Cup in 97. And made top four in 2003. Had big players like Zola and Gullit. It wasnât the same as Man City where it felt like the trailer park winning the lottery. The Chelsea takeover was easier to stomach and made sense.

As a Juve fan I have to say that chelsea has taken over in terms of titles over Arsenal. In all their history theyâve been to one final. That not enough. Chelsea for me is a bigger club now.
