So you thing is funny

Did he just tell them to all use the same pass? Savage đ
Every time they scan the pass it deducts $2.75 from the card, so it doesnât really matter because they all paid for their ride
Why not? Everyone does that đ

"It will take an Ox to drag me out of here." haha I love their catch phrases.
The way they feel when they get to Times Square is exactly how i feel every time i go into the city and Iâve grown up here đ„ș
I Love New York, Time Square is my favorite place to be, especially at Christmas time. I try to go every year because no matter how many times you go it still feels like the 1st time.
That's funny, in a positive way of us all being different. I never understood Times Square or Trafalgar Square. Who the fuck wants to see adds? Did you put the adds that dropped down your letterbox onto your walls, because they were so beautiful? What I appreciate is nature and ancient, classical beauty. But we all have our tastes.
For the Amish, I understand that it was the light that impressed them.
lmao same
Bates is my cousin
@@makmar4484 Whatever you can do for your cousin, however he prefers to live his life, I hope you can support. Blood is thicker than thought.
6:33 Damn, I started crying. I felt the same way my first time in Times Square. I mean, yes, advertisements are a stain on humanity and the world. But I've always loved city lights, and coming from lameass suburbs, I had never seen them like that before. It really is an experience.
i almost started crying too. i went to NYC for the first time just a month ago & it was the most amazing thing i've ever experienced. i was ready to drop everything i have going for me where i live to just LIVE there. it would be lifechanging.
NYC the greatest city on the planet!

I can see how a first time subway ride could be anxiety provoking lol itâs wild and crowded and fast paced ! Lol
That would put me off,it's so busy
Itâs OK we all feel the same way about the subway.
and HOT
Forget that, it fuckin stinks and the air feels moist
I was driving through rural PA, Amish kids waving to me made my day
I'm from rural Australia and I went to Hong Kong as a 16-year old. Pretty much the same shock. I never saw so many people (or dangers!) in my life. There were buildings somebody could get lost inside and even underground trains and passageways. I saw skyscrapers built on mountains. And thanks to internet I can finally show this to my uncles and cousins.
Like you didn't have a television
Never seen so many dangers? You're Australian, you practically live on the back of a giant spider.
@@jeffhampton2767 We did, it had 4 propaganda channels and 0 real content.
I'm an Aussie born and raised to Aussies in Hong Kong during the 80s and 90s. Both my parents were country kids and we did just fine. It was a mind warp for me visiting the grandparents in Inverell after flying from HK!
I freaking love Amish people!!! I'm fascinated to the core when I see them!!! The only time I usually see them is at the hospital and sumtimes maybe the mall
The first time I met an Amish family was back in '94 during a stop at Niahgra Falls as part of a baseball tour. Most freindly.
The first Young Amish show a couple of years ago revealed almost everyone who was on the show had lived outside there community before and there " lost modern world " personas was for the show. So i don't bother with this new incarnation. I'm sure they have taken a subway before lol
At the end they go to a bar and adrink like a fish. Couldn't be a first experience. Not the first time putting shots down.
most amish are pretty well aquanted with technology. I was in Amish country a few months ago and I saw a woman on a smart phone lol. They are a a point where they can't really survive without modern tech
All of the cast were all already in the English world, itâs definitely faked for the show
Yes. I don't believe any of these people were actually Amish. An Amish girl named Barbie,?
@@kyriljordanov2086 They are definitely Amish. I heard them speak and you cannot fake the language. I understood every word they said..I am a former Amish person.
This is really like going back in time and bring someone from 18th century
I'm so happy that y'all had a wonderful time in (New York City) . Be very careful though. There's also a dangerous side to the big apple. May God bless you, and keep you safe on your journeys.
Another heretic commanding a vengeful god to change his perfect plan.
Next up. Amish get their first mugging and mugger leaves with straw hat, and bible.
Lol
Its everyone thinking theyre dressing like that for costumes and fun lmaoo
They look like actors.
Yes I live in PA and have seen plenty of amish and they don't sound or look amish.
They are so cute and innocent
âThat train almost blew my bonnet off!â Imma start using that. đ€Ł
â This is the most amazing place that Iâve ever been. â So much respect for these people. Amish people donât have to change at all regarding their traditions but least they need to adapt the 2021 Life but not destroy the tradition! Love from philippines đ”đ
I tip my hat to them
This happened to me in gar du nor. I've always wanted to do what they did in NYC. Big ups to them!
Gare du Nord in Paris ?
@@capucnechaussonpassion14 Could also be Gare du Nord in Brussels.
I was born and raised, and still live at 33, just outside of Orlando FL. We go there all the time to eat, go to the theme parks, stores downtown, doctor's appointments, etc. And even to me that subway looks hectic and stressful and all heck!
That would be soo much fun! I love Disney! I love Universal and Seaworld! Wish I could go back! Havenât been there since 2007!
They really don't seem that different at all. Like when they were all standing there staring at the lights, they looked like Gen-X suburban kids. Not quite like today, of this generation, but definitely familiar. Appreciate how simple and straightforward they communicate. It's nice.
The metro cards are purchased by the amount of trips- depending on the rides, so is the price/value of the Metro cards. as long as there are trips left, they can be used my multiple of people. I still miss the tokens.
These Amish seem a little more "worldly" by using words such as "cheers" and "hook-up"... Those do not seem like words that would fit into the Amish vernacular.
I watched a video of someone meeting Amish people and a guy said a few have internet, fake? Idk
And one said Freaking
God bless these people they are so sinciere brave and courageous
Beautiful ladies.
This would be overwhelming even for me and Iâm from California
And if you do it in Paris (metro), you'll have rotten ceilings and leaks.
I remember i met some on an amtrak train once. they didnt talk much but when i looked some up online i learned about their lifestyle and culture and was like, yo these ppl live in the 1600s
Just so you know this show and everything they say is all a lie! I'm amish myself and we DO NOT live like that! And this is not actually how they dress etc. They just do it for this weird show!đđ€šâč
Don't believe anything you see online about the amish because it's not true at all!
@@saramiler5241 The Amish Community is/are Christian Church Members (aswell as I am) so I'm sure they're dressed like that and etc to prevent committing sins

Try putting a Pacific islander in the middle of New York city & he/she will cry out loud of a broken heart.
Happy for them
I live in Ohio and have visited Amish families. They are very kind and family oriented. I notice on these Amish shows the women have spray tans.
Maybe its makeup for the camera's? idk
Yep they don't sound or look amish.
It's probably a real tan from being outside... I don't think they generally use sunblock
Of all places to introduce them to non-Amish life-NYC would be so overwhelming.
I want just an ounce of the guys confidence that already decided he's going to be on ads in time square
Beautiful
Johnny F-ING Cash....WHAT?! I thought it's a sin for any Amish People to listen to the Legendary Johnny Cash, and one of the GOATs of Country Music. WOW. This kid definitely has some good taste in music.
They are absolutely gorgeous

how much they paid these people to pretend to be amish?? đđđ
I can already tell Matt, the brown kid, is going to go wild during this experience. Poor wife.

I would rather be Amish, then to live around there.
Yes most definitely...
Nah I'll take a modern life.
Did the producers tell that girl to ask them about their attire like that?! đ€Łđ

ahhh....... memories of those first few swipes of that metrocard man..... its all in the flick of the wrist!!!
An Amish girl named Barbie? I doubt any of these people are actually Amish. They may have an Amish background but they're not Amish.
Barbie means foreign from a strange land, I think it suits her perfectly, Latin though, if I remember
Barbie isnât just the name of a doll. Also, the dolls name is actually Barbara. Ken is âKennethâ.
Bates is my cousin he's back amish his actual name is Ruben lol
i mean they couldve asked the camera man
Exactly!
Cameraman's most times are not allowed to interact only a producer that comes along
How do they get alcohol when they are not allowed to have ID because of photographs?
Im sure the show just got it for them
A lot of places in New York donât card if you look old enough.
I mean doesn't they look like more than 21? why in USA you're asking for id even when a person looks almost 50?
I wonder how the Amish feel about gaining power (electricity) through solar, wind and water sources. The sun can easily cook anything an electric oven can. They have metal tools. So, I'm not sure if the difference between using tools and metal to make a vehicle that uses the sun to power it.
