Welcome to what will probably be a limited series (since trends like these end soon) of the results of what happens when you play a video game illegally. Like the rare TV airings you see on my channel, the piracy videos are fake, but don't actually pirate a game. You could actually get arrested for that.
Have you seen videos like these pop up in your recommendation feed? Yes, we all have gotten recommendations on videos like these. Now, here are some of them in one video, starting with the Super Mario ones (since this trend started with the Mario Party DS videos).

Honestly, the ones that try to be hilariously fake are the ones I always cringe at the most.
They're trying to be the funniest funny not realizing that you actually need to put in more than 5 minutes of effort to be funny.

Even as an adult I’m grateful for that disclaimer at the beginning. As a kid, I was pretty heavily influenceable and would’ve believed in this stuff pretty easily. So thank you for lookin’ out for the younger generation :) That warning is definitely reassuring some kiddo out there.

Man, I was disappointed at Mario Kart Wii, I expected the game to say that you owned a fake license and now you were under arrest.
Mariokart wii anti piracy screen they replace all the other racers with cop cars and if they touch your kart you get a jumpscare of cursed Mario with a loud sound with a text saying piracy is a serious crime.

Being genuinely terrified of the massive black holes in Galaxy seeing the massive black hole at 7:41 kinda made my heart jump.
the black holes where you can make it on the very center, literally stick to it are the ones from Honeyhive Galaxy (specifically the one below Bugaboom boss) and the one of Beach bowl Galaxy (Secret Star)

Some of the most effective antipiracy is just ones that are super annoying.. Imagine if the first level took two entire minutes to load, then the next took four, then eight, so on... At the end of the world would be when the crash happens xD.

Actually my favorite pirate proofed games is the ones that make you think you made it work, but in reality the game knows and alter small bits of gameplay to make the game harder and more annoying (These features mainly come later in the game, beginning has no edits to fool the pirates)
My favourite measures are the ones that make you read the game manual in order to answer some questions to prove you bought the game. Smart stuff man.
And the final boss is just pure bullet spam.
Not gonna lie, i'd actually start pirating if it made games harder. Would make for a pretty good challenge run on certain games that initially aren't too difficult.
I think one of those games are Earthbound, when the game detects that it was pirated, starts to modify the enemy spawn rate and makes the game harder.

Nintendo doesn't have issues with Emulators and Emulation. As you pointed out they use it. Nintendo has an issue with Piracy.
The issue is that people both purposefully and more often accidently fail to make the distinction and that leads to people being stupid.

the baldis basics anti piracy when it isnt detected properly is great. it buffs the game and makes it so hard nobody can beat it.
The mario galaxy one just makes me laugh. Mostly because im imagining Rosalina and her Luma being asses about piriating a wii game in 2021 and bowser stole Peach and an entire castle AND bombarded a festival.

I really enjoy the creativity of the people who make these. However in reality, if a game had anti-piracy, it would probably be very similar to older anti-piracy, along with maybe the game refusing to be read, or with newer systems refusing to work.

One time when I was playing Kirby's Return to Dreamland but when I got into the game from the Wii menu, the game wasn't loading. So we had to turn the Wii off and try again. I found out later that that was an anti-piracy check and the Game thought I pirated it.

I couldn't even get into the anti-piracy aspect of the video just because I was so overwhelmed with nostalgia for watching my brother play most of the early to mid 2000s mario games (which I think makes it obvious that I'm the younger sibling lmao)

Okay so as a kid I was TERRIFIED of the Cursyas from SPM, and I still kind of am. So terrified, in fact, that whenever I played the game after I beat it I refused to play any levels with them in it. So terrified that I never watched any full playthroughs of the game despite it being overall a game I had great memories of. So terrified that this video is probably the first time I've seen one in a decade because I actively avoided them, and was even considering skipping the SPM segment just in case. So not only do I get a nasty reminder of my childhood nightmares, but then I get a wonderful view of Mario's head on a pike. Basically, what I'm saying is that if this video had existed five years ago and I watched it, I probably would have been scarred for life.
