- A biographical film is on Raja Rammohan Roy, a great social reformer and father of Bengal Renaissance. He fought against the social evils such as Sati and widow burning. Ram Mohan Roy was a great scholar, thinker and steadfast believer in the dignity of individuals. He vehemently advocated the idea of democracy and world government. Ram Mohan Roy was born on May 22, 1772 in a village of Radha Nagar in Bengal, where his father was a rich landlord. Ram Mohan Roy laid the foundations of modern India. He died in England, at Bristol.

If British speaking good against any person during colonial period then their is some thing suspicious.Rammohan was British sponsored converted person a simple clerk ,tax asst propogated as a reformer who done things which is in agenda of Britishers.It was British who want to abolish sati partha ,English education (macley) he was a clown.He was supporter of Christainty ,one god ,against idoltary, hindusims .He wants British rule for many yrs to destroy indian intellectual, political thought wants to emplement English thought to make indian sincere towards Britishers.later he worked as a mediator between mughal ruler and British for pension of Akbar 2 living lavish life in England died then buried with Christain rituals all though many indian society was their in England
