The Munsters Rarities DVD Review

This is a brief review of the DVD set for Munsters Rarities. It contains 3 different versions of the unaired pilots. Most of the content on this DVD have been previously unreleased aside from "The Munsters - Americas First Family of Fright" DVD from 2004. That DVD set does not contain the 3rd version of the pilot with the actors who eventually played Lilly and Eddie.
One is a color version of the pilot featuring Joan Marshall and Happy Derman. The second version is a black and white one that runs a few extra minutes longer and features Joan Marshall and Happy Derman from the first pilot. The final version features the debut of Yvonne De Carlo and Butch Patrick.
Aside from the unaired pilots there are tons of clips, trailers and promos for The Munsters and their follow up movies.While those may or may not something of interest to some folks, the main features are really the 3 unaired pilots.
This set only runs 55 minutes overall, but I'd definitely recommend this for any Munsters fan.

This doesn't have the full length color version. Only a short 3 min teaser. So it really only has 2 full pilots. The black and white joan marshall happy derman, and the yvonne de carlo butch patrick sans widowspeak wig.
