- I've got a busy Monday morning packed with team meetings, design reviews and preparing for a couple client presentations later in the day. It's days like this where I don't get a ton of time to dive into a specific topic I want to share with you guys so instead I thought I'd try something a littler different.

Thanks for these videos! I’m an interior designer as well (in Toronto) and watching your videos are like a breath of fresh air. I find it’s easy to get caught up in the day to day deadlines and challenges of the design process, that I forget to present and enjoy the process.
Watching your videos gives me perspective again and reminds me how amazing an interior design career is despite the day to day challenges.

I completely agree with you guys that being in the art field is hard (even though I'm not an art person and from the medical field). Because what you're coming up with are ideas - that always need to be fresh and innovative. It's like you guys are always setting a new trend whereas we're sticking to the tradition. It was a great one!! Really curious to know what softwares you use for Sketches and rendering?? Is Autocad used for interiors too or Just structural projects? Which Software is Best for projecting Interiors ( commercial ones specially)
she answered this in one of her previous Q&A videos. can't remember exactly which one in case you don't get a response.. check those out. I believe she said sketch up, irender (for renderings) and I believe auto cad for drawings and revit for drafting/modeling but I could be off a little hun
AutoCAD is more for structural, there’s no 3D views in that program. I have personally used Revit for all interior renderings since you have that 3D view, but sketch up is good too!!

What size paper are you printing these presentations on? Also Karin do you have CAD training? The reason I ask is because I may not be able to learn it before my diploma program ends, and if I could hire someone then that works.
