- We went back to Nepal after 4 and half years. Dividing our time between friends, family and festivals, there was no time at all to do the one thing we really wanted to do: Trek the famous Annapurna Circuit and get to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
Only if we could fly to ABC, right? That's exactly what we did. Watch the video to find how you can do just that.
We took Simrik Air (www.simrikair.com) from Pokhara but there are many other helicopter and tour companies operating in Pokhara that you could choose from.
Price of the helicopter ride: approx. 300 USD per person but you can also charter the whole helicopter which works out slightly cheaper.
The ride is about 15 minutes. You get only about 30 minutes to spend on the base camp because of the altitude issues.
The purpose of the video is also to promote VisitNepal 2020 campaign and Nepal as a global tourist destination.
