Wow. I started listening to this gentleman on Sunday 6th October 2019 and haven't been able to stop listening. I have a husband who has had a stroke and a side effect from that is seizures, to date Barrie has had 4 seizures and I know that we are being held by the Lord. I am still very much a baby Christian and I'm in my 60's. So David Pawson all I can say is a very big thank you from the both of us for opening up my mind. I have learnt so much in the last few months with my faith than compared to my time in the Anglican Church in 40 years! You Sir have a lovely voice to listen to. I am still learning to pray and thankfully because of you I am now starting to understand the bible a little at a time.

Dave thought salvation was an ongoing process, so therefore he died not believing on the completion of Christs work for him. True, we pay the price for our sins in this world so flee from sin as not to anger God but our salvation is ultimately in Christ Jesus. Therefore Dave wrongly believes that there are believers in Hell. He also maintained wrongly that God gave the land back to the Jews. The bible never suggests that after 2000 years that God gives the land back to them. It suggests in Revelation that the Jews took it back by force to worship the Anti christ in the future. As Christians we must believe that if you have the son, therefore you have the Father in Heaven, Sadly the Jews do not believe this. John David Pawson was the first teacher I listened to as a baby Christian in the 1980s and 90s. How I hungered for the Word ! The Lord led me to Pawson's cassette tapes, and that was my sustenance for decades. Pawson was systematic and structured and exegetical and that helped discipline my reading of the Scriptures. I learned to study the Word. I thank the Lord for leading me to such a faithful, gifted servant.
I also identify with what you said. I came across his tapes in Sydney Australia at a book and tape ministry called “millo” in the 90’s. We would borrow his videos and I also grew from his diverse Range of topics. I still listen to his messages which many are timeless! ( now uploaded to CZcams ! Praise God )

@@PiggyWiggyO Of course good works ALONE don't save, but love for God will do good works purely as it is a doing of those things that are pleasing in his sight, not even thinking to gain some special favour in the sight of God. It is purely a work and labour of love as written in the New Testament. As 1Cor13 says my works are useless even if I give my body to be burnt if I have not love. If you or anyone even thinks good works are needed to MAINTAIN salvation you're coming from the wrong angle & been listening to the wrong voices.

I heard David Pawson when he spoke in Sydney, Australia in the 1980s. He spoke prophetically saying Australia has always been called the lucky country, but, he said, " your days of being lucky are running out" and OH how I've seen these words gradually coming to pass.

David has earned the rite to be called a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has traveled to these places where the actual events occurred, the Historical record, there is so much ignorance in the Church today, nice to listen to a steward of Our God.
Doug Hambone i agree that he is an amazing man of God and thoroughly believes in the Bible as Gods word. However i also note that there has been a dramatic falling away in his home country despite his preaching.
Doug Hambone, he is a great instrument used by god but hasn’t earned anything , we are saved by grace , unmerited favor. In England there is a statute of John Wesley and at the foot it reads. If you feel constrained to praise the instrument , stop ! And give god the glory.

Due to interpretation, no one will ever agree 100% on every point, but Pawson was a man of God and he was able to reach me with his teachings when others did not because he speaks truth and was lead by God. David has earned the rite to be called a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has traveled to these places where the actual events occurred, the Historical record, there is so much ignorance in the Church today, nice to listen to a steward of Our God.
Doug Hambone i agree that he is an amazing man of God and thoroughly believes in the Bible as Gods word. However i also note that there has been a dramatic falling away in his home country despite his preaching.
Doug Hambone, he is a great instrument used by god but hasn’t earned anything , we are saved by grace , unmerited favor. In England there is a statute of John Wesley and at the foot it reads. If you feel constrained to praise the instrument , stop ! And give god the glory.

@@PiggyWiggyO Look, Patrick, I have watched most of Pawson's videos and he teaches straight from the Bible. Due to interpretation, no one will ever agree 100% on every point, but Pawson was a man of God and he was able to reach me with his teachings when others did not because he speaks truth and was lead by God. Period.

please excuse me ,not wishing to offend saying this but I only find God / Jesus & His creation to be Awesome. I think we too easily use that word & it seems to dilute it . It's just a personal little niggle of mine that we use words like Awesome to really mean what they say & I don't think David would say he was Awesome , The bible though, that is Awesome, mind boggling , exciting , amazing .

Please check out Derek Prince also. If you like the above teachers, you may well also resonate with Derek Prince. You might start with his later sermons. He passed away in 2003. You sure have a great group of teachers already.
Maybe u should discover JESUS and read his word and let him teach u... And have the same excitement over knowing him and his word, so u can spot the false ones, of which u mentioned...
