    Forehand/Backhand Loop --> Very important VS Defenders and Matrial Style Players.
    Well explained by YangYang.

  • @mathematechxblackboard1942

    Hi Yangyang! I like that you discussed the “how to” step by step. But just like so many videos, you didn’t say anything about the impact on the ball. Do you brush the ball or hit the ball given the angle you mentioned. I heard from someone, hit (speed)70% and spin 30%. Does that work here, and can you explain this concept of 70% speed and 30% spin? Thank you and please know that I love your videos and your channel. :)

    The demos were against a backspin. Should you close the paddle against a topspin?

    Nice video, with good form as shown by your camera angles Yangyang. I don't know if others noticed, or it could be my speakers, but your voice and music sounded off. A little distorted, as I've noticed with a few of your other video lessons. Aside from that, keep up the good work and continue spreading the love of table tennis.

    Wow your acceleration is very fast just before the contact. I also see that you loosen the wrist on the backswing and put a lot of wrist snap on the shot.

    It's a very nice video, but it is easy to observe that the actual execution is much different from the instructions. This is always a problem with all tutorials. The teacher tries to break it down but the actual stroke is one, complete holistic motion where the whole body is unleashing into the ball. Ultimately it is just lots of relaxed practice as one develops this unleashing feeling.

    Question about contact point : Is contact point 9 hour (left of the ball) or 3 hour (right of the ball)? Confusing...

    • @Topgunindia
      @Topgunindia Před 5 lety +1

      9 is behind ball 3 is front of ball
      Contact against backspin is closer to 9 and against topspin contact is closer to 10 o clock
      Your opponent will contact around 3 o'clock when returning your heavy backspin with a loop

    Yangyang Jia, what are the approximate BAT ANGLES and ARM MOVEMENT ANGLES that you use for your OPENING LOOP against HEAVY BACKSPIN? And how do these same angles compare to the BAT ANGLES and ARM MOVEMENT ANGLES you use for your COUNTER-LOOPS against HEAVY TOPSPIN?

  • @mathematechxblackboard1942

    Hi Yangyang! When doing the forehand loop, should I hit the ball more or is it more on brushing the ball? The way I see it on the video, it is more on taking a solid contact on the ball rather than brushing it, is that correct? Thank you.

      i understand the core idea of forehand drive to forehand top spin to forehand loop as increasing body distance from table, increasing hand lift from back to front and in case of loop, additionally, lowering of the hand at or below the surface level of the table...

    • @qfksspecial7866
