Saw this at NYFF!!! Honestly while it’s still very good it’s not really for me. Not a big Shakespeare fan. Give all the Oscars to Katherine Hunter though. A modern day Lon Chaney performance if I had to describe it.

Totally get you - I think wherever you stand with Shakespeare stuff before this, this one isn’t going to swing you the other way; so it totally makes sense if it isn’t 100% for you!

I’m looking forward to Katherine Hunter as the Wyrd Sisters....sad, no mention yet of her as ‘best supporting’ in the predictions, but it’s early days!
Denzel Washington always amazes - to see someone so accomplished ‘growing into himself’ in middle-age is so heartening, as if the best really is
‘yet to come’
I’m elated by the strength & variety of this year’s potential entries-

Was I going crazy or were there very subtle bits of colour in there? I could swear the odd splashes of blood were very slightly red or the iris of some of the characters eyes were brown very slightly
