I have watched a lot of tool reviews and bag setups, and this is by far the best setup I have ever seen. It also mirrors a lot of the same items I've found in my search of the best items or tools for the job. I noticed you don't have a huge following yet, but the quality of your videos and selection of tools makes me believe this has the potential to become a very large channel. You've made the jump from learning how to use the tools; to mastering skills, and now publishing what I think is one of the best 'EDC' a general handy-man or general contractor could ever have. A few years ago I didn't know as much as I wished about tools, and I always wondered what I could do if I had 'that' tool; now I understand a couple tools with the right user can do just about anything. This tool bag is a perfect reflection of that philosophy. While most of the tools are of high quality and not necessarily cheap; if someone took enough time to understand the purpose and maximize every tool in this kit they could accomplish 80% of any repair or 60-70% of any project they ever wanted to do. If I had any advice for anyone watching this video it would be that if you invested in this exact toolset you would be amazed how to matter what you want to work on, how many jobs you could complete in comfort with this kit. Everyone should subscribe and click that bell! Really looking forward to what content you are able to come up with in the future; what an amazing kickoff to a channel!
Wow man, I really appreciate your words. This bag was the consequence of maybe two or three years of switching out tools, lugging around big set ups, and just noticing what works best for me, while pick up tools that I can get the most use out of.
tool bags and tool selection is not necessarily my forte but I’ve spent enough time working w an electical contracting crew and with some guys that are very adept in this area. Everything you say mirrors what I have had to put together from many different sources over a handful of years loving this. Keep it up!
@@BrandenBraxton hey quick tip for the Packout self opening issue, use heat shrink tubing on the metal latch. They aren't that hard to remove and place back. They'll stay shut and have a better seal.
My stuff is sort by jobs type...each one as a tool box,a bag and buckets....#1Gyprocs and framing. #2 Plaster and Painting #3 pluming and electrical basics #4 is the Work Shop where i Process big cuts or job preparation....so i have many times the contente of that bag of yours...you know what i mean,we always keep buying tools again and again...OMG its a Culte..lol...keep helping others Brother. Pce!
Keep it in your pants bro
it's crazy how almost all of these tool bag videos show tools that look like they were just bought that day. I wish my tools looked that nice.
I was just thinking that!! the bag and almost every tool looks brand new!
It is because these guys are buying tools just for fun, i doubt they are using tools every day.
I’ve subscribed for about 3 weeks and I think I’ve watched this video 10 times. As a Milwaukee/Klein/Knipex fan this is the most satisfying video to repeat over and over again. My wife thinks I have a problem lol.
Lol thanks man, no worries my girl thinks I’m crazy for liking my tools enough to review them smh. I appreciate the support!
I also think you have a problem
Finally someone intelligent enough to pronounce knipex correctly. Respect
Thanks brother, someone just commented that I pronounced it wrong. So at this point I hope I am pronouncing it correct lol.
@@BrandenBraxton wait it’s really k-nipex?!? I’ve been correcting people wrong? I don’t know what’s real anymore!
Those are high quality tools. It looks like you take good care of them. If you want a different topic for a new video, perhaps you could show us the supplies you keep in inventory and take to your jobs. For instance, screw and bolt assortments, electrical crimp terminals, duct/electrical/masking tapes, string, pipe fittings, etc. Thanks for the video.
Wow, that’ll actually be a perfect idea and now next on the list! Thanks
Yes!!!!!!
I love the FastCap 16’ tape measurer. Super durable, has a built in pencil sharpener and little writing pad on the face to jot down quick measurements. Also gives 1/16th measurements on both sides of the tape which has proven much more convenient than I’d even have thought. Great little tool to check out if you’re still interested in trying new tape measures!
Love seeing a fellow Milwaukee addict lol. Great video man, subbed!
Thanks brother I appreciate it! More to come.
30 seconds in and I love his energy and the fact he’s running great gear and organization is enough to subscribe
Well, what you have is essential, you not missed a single thing.
The fact that everything you have is ready for many JOBS makes your kit perfect. I made a list of your gear and I am going to HAVE set up my kit very similar to your yours…
God bless, have a great day, stay safe
Dude, everything you carry, I carry as well! (and more)I have one tool for you that you should have on you at all times, a right angle pick. Never leave home without it! Thanks brother.
Yep, I finally started keeping one in my pouch because I use it so often. Actually, I keep a straight and a 90.
ive been watching these tool bag videos and not a single persons tools are ever dirty
A year after this video was posted, it finally shows up on my algorithm. This tool bag is well thought and organized. He has constantly been on the search for a better way to do things and this is the result.
I am now a subscriber.
Wow man. I don’t ever comment on you tube. Don’t stop making videos! You’re articulate, give the details the viewer wants without rambling, and have the experience that contractors/handyman can relate to. Subscribed!
Thanks brother I really appreciate that! More to come soon.
Branden, 64 Yr old handy man/electrician and breaking my large tool boxes into general and specialty kit…great video content and presentation. Proves you can teach old dogs new tricks. Thanks
Thank you for this video. I just got a Cobalt electricians tote for Christmas and you gave me a whole bunch of ideas. I appreciate that.
I love the fact that you buy quality but aren’t afraid to sport some cheaper things that you don’t often need. Great to see someone else who keeps their tools clean too. I was torn between the LC or the MCT. This video settled it for me. We have similar jobs and preferences. I waded through a lot of videos until I found yours. Thanks for the help.
Thanks man ,I appreciate it and happy I could help!
Awesome video, I really like the setup you have in the 10” tote. Your EDC is well balanced and very thorough. I’ll definitely be subscribing! Keep these quality videos coming.
With all the tool videos I watch I can't believe I'm just now discovering your channel. Excellent content and I really lime how you present yourself. Very genuine and humble. Thank you for this channel
Thanks Jack, my channel isn’t big so it can get lost easily lol. But I’ll definitely be uploading some new content soon to help!
I've watched this video over and over and over. The cinematography with the voiceover is really incredible. Great job!
A meticulous person such as yourself I would hire in an instant. Thank you so much for all the insight!
Finally a good set up with quality tools. Thanks man.
I do similar work as my side job. You and I have exactly the same taste in tools....QUALITY!!
Great content! Enjoyed it.
Different bags for different jobs-now that makes you a thinking man 🥸
Thanks for the tour of your bag. I was so impressed I got in the truck went to Harbor freight and picked up that mini torque bit set.
This video is excellent! Im always on the lookout for tool reviews or tools in general. looking forward to future content by you as well. To sum up this video in one word......Excellence!
Thanks man
For a Handyman tool carry-all that is an excellent set-up. Good quality tools, organized and versatile. A combination of being well thought out and having work experience. Bravo.
I love this video. Straight forward and honest, always refreshing. You’ve earned a subscriber, and I cant wait to see how much your channel grows bro. Keep up the good content💪🏽💯
Thanks brother! I honestly love tools and use them daily, so I’m just giving my take on things. I’m happy to see others agree and enjoy the video.
Like watching a magician pulling more and more things out of a bag, crazy. The best bag set up and demo I've seen.
I'm a female homeowner, and I'm getting into some DIY projects. This video helped me realize all the tools that are used the most. I'm glad that I have most of them already, I just need to get organized and find a better way to store them. Great video, it was very helpful. I literally made a list as you took everything out of the bag. Major props!
That’s great, I’m happy i could help!
Glad to see excellent tools. I have same tools for yrs.. thank you for video.
just about to start a small handy man start-up for myself you make it easy and very informative looking forward to see more of your videos
Phenomenal load out, very similar to what I run and it’s reassuring to see I have the right tools. As for stud finders I had one of the zircons and hated it too, ended up upgrading to the Franklin sensors and absolutely love it. It’s totally worth the money hands down.
Fun to see your choices. Also very clear and concise “reviews” of everything….
This is the best tool bag review/breakdown. Thanks so much!!
Glad it was helpful!
Great job , good explanation of each tool and why you carry it. Would like to see your other setups as well. Keep.them coming.
Thanks man,I definitely have more coming soon!
Dude, the BEST needle nose pliers ever. I love mine.
Love videos like these. Keep up the good videos!
I own quite a few of the same tools that you have. It's very cool to see another Tech's tool set-up.
This popped in my recommends. Looks like you hit the algorithm based on the comments. Enjoyed the content and subbed. As far as stud finders I found using a strong magnet to find the nails worked the best.
Doesn't tell you where live wires are tho lol
Very nice setup I have at least 23 of the tools that you have in your pack out look forward to your next video
Solid video dude, I also like how you not only showed the tool clearly but also occasionally explained some situations in which you used the tools (like the needle nose with drain plug at 10:53). Keep it up, the situations and opportunities will never end!
Thanks for the walkthrough. You've really got a lot into a small bag. Good suggestions for efficient work and cutting down trips to the truck.
Thanks, yeah this little bag gets me through 95% of my jobs and I’ve recently added more lol.
Nice rig! Love my Milwaukee and German tools.
Great video, I liked the walk through and explanation of your tool bag setup. Very informative.
Thanks for a number of good ideas for my EDC tool bag 👍
Nice setup, nice to see quality tools, Wera make great stuff.
Fellow NJ guy here. I don't do residential work, but as a pipefitter doing commercial and industrial, and all the mechanic and handyman stuff I do on the side, it blows my mind you haven't thrown a 6 inch adjustable in there. I personally like what crescent has been doing with their little adjustables, but Milwaukee makes a wide jaw little guy so you could stay on theme.
For most situations I just use my 6in pipe pliers, yet I have recently got a pair of wrench pliers that work similar to a crescent wrench.
@@BrandenBraxton Gotcha. As a Union 'fitter the only three mandated tools are a torpedo level, a stick rule, and a pair of channellocks. Most guys run the 420 size, which I love, but I like the 422 a little better because the V jaw does better with flange nuts that I get in refinery work all the time and does the same or slightly better with almost everything else. I tried Knipex pliers about two years ago and I couldn't get them to run as smooth or as fast one handed as just the standard channellocks, but to each his own. Doing more commercial work now that I'm outside the refinery, I'm always walking around with a little adjustable for all the threaded rod and unistrut contraptions I run into. Honestly though, for tubing fittings or small valves, so many uses, I just couldn't be without my little adjustable and since I already have the channel's it feels like it adds a dynamic to my little kit. Anyway.
I guess it really matters what your bread and butter is. You obviously know what works for you man, some nice tools in there for sure.
I Have that same knife you where talking about, the one that Constantly pops out the back .....DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!
Klein has an awesome usb-c rechargeable head lamp. its even removable off the strap with a little magnet for inside of electrical panels. Check it out, it was only like $30
Love your video. Your tool bag is rad!!! I love the Milwaukee!!!
Great video man. Very high quality and you’re a great public speaker haha. Can’t wait to see what else you put out
Thanks brother, college came in handy for something lmfao. But I definitely have more videos coming soon!
Wow. Best set up and organization i hace seen.
Amazing set up, Brother! Picking up few items for my tool bag too 👍🏻
Very thoughtful choice of tools. Liked & subbed, looking forward to more content!
Love the set up, I like the Titan flat pry bars over the blue ones you have. Classy and very sharp, good to use to scrape paint or rust.
Great video! Like your style, Tools and everything. You’ll grow this channel fast 😊
Thanks man, I appreciate the encouragement!
Thanks for sharing, great set-up!!
A treasure trove of high quality tools! Impressive presentation! A a Yankee cap? The icing on the cake!
The Yankees fitted is a must in the Tri State Area lol.
This video alone earns you a follow sir. Keep up the good work, this video is great.
Great vid! Nice review of everything, thank you!
This is a great video and a very nice kit in a small package. I have similar preferences in tools and got some great tips from this. Good job!
You’re going to love the knipex pliers wrench. They are a game changer, very versatile.
Yeah they have a fan for life now
I don't know how I got here, but I'll be back for more. Greetings from Poland!
Wow. My apartment maintenance coworker put me on Milwaukee and I’ve been obsessed ever since. He has the same tote bag too
Like this, and surprised how clean all the tools are
This popped up on my recommended because I love tools and less than a minute in I was loving this video. Checked out your profile and this is the first video on your channel???? The quality and detail is amazing, definitely earned my like and sub. Great tool setup btw, I’ll need to check out that Wera bit set since I currently have the bulky Milwaukee case you mentioned.
Thanks man I really appreciate that, and the tool check plus is working great, I’m getting more out of it.
Dude I echo your words. I thought the same thing.
Excellent video. Great setup!
You have great taste in tools 👌🏼 wera drivers, knipex pliers and Milwaukee powertools/tape/torpedo is my go-to setup too🤘🏼
Great video bro Really like your set up!! Quality tools. Thanks for putting me on!!
Not a problem brother,I’m happy I can help!
Lovin your vids so far, as a handyman in the U.K., I find it very interesting
Thank you,I’ll have more to come!
Nice set up, looks ready to tackle most jobs. Great presentation as well.
Thanks, it definitely serves as a solid base for most jobs.
Great tools, great review. Thank you
Very nice, well thought out setup!
Great organization and seems very compact. Love the video and gear. Thank u.
Thanks man
10/10 on the choice of tools. Got me hyped up on cashing out on some new tools! Post more construction/handyman vids!
Thanks for the comment brother. All my working videos are on my Instagram, youtube will just be for tools.
Nice setup! It gave me a few ideas on how I can shrink the mess I currently carry and get better organized.
Thanks man, I’m happy I could help
Broo I started cheesing when I seen the first 30 seconds sheesh man got quality and most trades in a tote mad respect !
I have and enjoy many of the tools you show here.
I'm impressed how clean and undamaged your tools are. Mine are a mess. LOL
I've recently picked up a Milwaukee packout cart and cases and still need to migrate over to it.
Yeah I try my best to keep them in good shape,I clean them after every major job. Especially when dealing with drywall.
Some really quality tools in that set!
Love your video. Glad you popped up in my recommended.
Thanks man
Your video popped up on my recommended since I watched tool channels. Quick, yet thorough. You definitely won a subscriber. Im a PM for a GC by day, but I’m my parents handy man for their rental properties on weekends, and I struggle not to lug everything around. This is well rounded!
Thanks brother I really appreciate it. I’m always looking for ways to make the setup better, so I’ll be doing updates
Best headlamp for your kind of work is the Zipka by Petzl, HANDS DOWN. It's going to last wayy longer per battery than the milwaukee and the size/weight is unmatched by any brand period. You could fit 3 of them in a breast pocket if you wanted. I've tried at Least 30 different headlamps and this one beats them all no question about it (for general purpose at least)
Great setup!! Great video!
Nice set up. Agree with you about those Knipex needle nose.
You are almost as obsessed with the right lights as me. LOL
For the headlight you should check out the olight h1r nova. It's a little flashlight with a magnetic base that you can use with or without the headband. USB rechargeable too
thank u brotha i wish you greatness
Hello thanks for the video. I am putting together a kit and this has been good and informative.
I am a bat biologist spend lots of time in the bush at night with headlamps. I use the petzl actik core, a relatively affordable high quality headlight with dim medium and bright modes. Also has a rechargeable battery :)
I have a set of Milwaukee wire strippers and I love them. Definitely recommend. They are more sturdy than others I have used
Made by NWS Germany. I brought the cutters pliers and snipe nose pliers by Milwaukee. Turned out to be exactly the same as my NWS pliers just re-badged. Knipex and Klein all the way.
Cool Video ...some new ideas for me in My DIY tool kit ! Thanks !
I have nearly the identical set up (tools and all) with the 15” Milwaukee tote. Just switched to the Veto Pro pac and it was the best decision. If you haven’t already gotten it, get one!
Subbed. Excellent kit. Well done my man
I stronly recommend the streamlight bandit pro for your headlamp solution. It come with an optional hat clip and regular head band, 3 brightness settings, usb rechargable, and a max life of about 18 hours, had them for a couple years, I love em
Very nice load out man. Impressive
Really cool setup. Very versatile. Definitely borrowing a few ideas.
👍😁
Awesome video idea, great video. For the headlamp, I normally wear a ballcap and keep a Streamlight 66608, 250 Lumen, micro usb rechargable flashlight clipped in my pocket. I use the clip to put it on the bill of my cap and it works great. However, it obviously struggles in tight spaces, but I use it as a regular flashlight more than a headlamp, so it offsets the tight spaces con.
Absolutely beautiful collection!
Very well done review! Looking forward to more! Subbed!
Great video man. Keep it up!
