4th engineer's cabin tour in malayalam.
this is a Tour of my cabin on a Container ship.
Room on a ship is called cabin.
All the crew of the ship gets a seperate room on board the modern ships.
size and the facilities inside the cabin may varey from the type of the ship and mostly upon the rank of the crew.
senior officers like the Captain,Chief Engineer and Chief officer, 2nd engineer gets the largest cabins with a bed room and a day room.
where as the junior engineers like 2nd officer, 3rd engineer and 3 rd officer,4 th engineer who are junior officers gets just the cabins without a day room.
and the crew gets the smallest cabins in size. facilities in a crew cabin may differ from ship to ship.
The cabins in a ship are inside the accommodation/super structure .
all other living areas like the mess room,gally, they gym room, are built inside the accommodation.
Me being a 4th engineer, is a junior officer onboard a ship, and hence the cabin is very normal.
The room is very basic with all the comfort you will ever need .
Cabin is air-conditioned and has bath room attached to the room.
You get a mini fridge to keep all your favourite beverages chilled.
A chilled beer after an exhausted day at works cools your mind and body.
There will be a nice cozy bed , a sofa, study table a
nd a chair, a cuboard to keep all your belongings.
Being an officer you even get room service .
