Omg Lenox porcelain! Dooney and Bourke, Calvin Klein, Via spiga shoes (Spanish label) this woman has impeccable taste! đđŒđ
Hey, neighbor! (Portland here) I haven't seen you in a while. Since your epic yard sale last Summer. I decided to check in on you to see how things are going. It looks like you're sailing right along! This is a very interesting unit! I worked at Sears in the mall, and it is pretty easy to buy the sales and really easy to buy more than necessary. I had to put the brakes in a few times. Lol! Grandma V, I LOVE Your truck scene! You're a natural!
Nice to see you back in action. Do not get how it was seal for 23 years when the paper was dated 2009. Hope you do well on this unit.
That little personal tour you gave us of the back of the unit that is worth thousands and thousands of dollars didnât look like anything but piles of clothes. I do believe I see a part 3 coming...
I think maybe that people had a store, they were probably retailers...and of course mixed personal stuff..you were lucky!
Ye... thats why may be the news paper dated early while the stoarge unit is old..
Laughing at wades expression when he held up the Lolita Lempicka perfume bottle... Like what brand is this. You really needed someone who know fashion/labels and brands. It's amazing that you had so many brands but 1 item gets "ooh Prada" đđđ great unit!!!
How could it have been sealed for 23 yrs if the newspaper says 09? Maybe they had it for 23 years but added to it?
True
Yep cus they had an iPod there too
]
Yeah he pulled out an iPod shuffle lol
I think she was hiding this stuff from her husband...
Mishka's Mom I thought the same thing
Yeah and a shopaholic to say the least...so crazy
maybe she was a he? ya never know lol
Or maybe she was a model or had a store.
I love these videos because it has made me realise that downsizing is a must for 2020. Substanability is the key, get rid of what you don't need and only replace when broken or no good.
A life lived to shop. Kinda sad. And then she died and her Dad just kept all this stuff in a lock up. He probably has passed as well by now. I hope these things make someone happy cause there doesn't seem to be much happiness in this.
I think she had a shopping problem, and the storage was her way of hiding it. Good to see you back!
Trying to fill some emptiness in her life???
@@donnaviestenz7773 I can see that now, and I understand a little more about what happened. I didn't understand it when I made this comment.
How is it SEALED 23 years when the newspaper is from 2009???
I think the owner lied to you.
More like Wade and his click baiting and over dramatic stories and man handling items like a wild chimp.
Agreed I saw a capote DVD
Nice. đ
Keeps saying there is something awesome in the back... maybe it's a time machine.
There's got to be a story. I doubt that many Macy's employees could afford such quantity of expensive merchandise even with discount.
Hello to Wade and family. You all are very hard working family. Wade you make all that hard work look easy. I watch you all on my TV. I love watch you and your mom interact with each other and such a nice loving way. I sometimes watch your shows for hours.
Kind of makes you realize it doesnât matter what you spend your money on. You donât get to take it with you. What a waste! Spend your money on experiences and make memories not things!
jademuntz mind ur own business lol
its their business
@@lisacartwheel3693 Your children do and thatâs what matters.
I had that plaid Limited Jacket in my younger yearsâŠI LOVED IT!!! Man did that bring back memories!
I can't imaging how much that lady spent! Crazy! Great score đ
I use to work in the thrift store industry for about 15 years. Anything we got in that was 23 years old as far as clothes and shoes was usually dry rotted not to mention out of style. Hopefully there are some vintage items that are still in good shape. And cosmetics and perfumes degrade over just a few years and start to smell bad.
I sincerely hope you do well. Thanks for the videos. I really enjoy them!
Those probably were not the same quality as these high end items
Diva was the curvy cut of Old Navy jeans. Sells well since the updated design doesn't fit a lot of people as well
Since the purses have been squished in those boxes so long, you can stuff them so they have some shape. You should do well on those Doony's..
23.00 box had a Paul Revere (lids look like one) pan - they are going for double digit each. the next box had a Paul Revere pan - tell by the handle.
You are very good at picking out the vintage storage lockers and have been fortunate to make money off of them. I think as a you tuber grows in the storage business they donât show as many videos as in the beginning. Do you feel that it hinders you in your income at all or do you make up for it in the selling of the items? I enjoy watching you and your wife together.
"Sealed 23 years" ... newspapers from 10 years ago ... that's some epic time traveling shit there.
Kristi Hollenbeck đđđđđ. yeah thats hilarious
23 years but she got a ipod
What I am impressed with the most is that you still have a knife you can use and haven't lost it lol
What happened to this woman? I feel so sad đ
Me too. This has depression all over it.
Glynis Marthinussen I feel like she was a merchandiser for the store? The tags all look the same. Unless she REALLY liked that store.
Love the way you say this is brand new ,and then throw it
He was so nice. He didn't say the title when he figured out that the girl was stealing from the store and even made up a story saying there were receipts of everything.
She may have been stealing the stuff.
I worked for Macy's back in the 90's. this is a walk down memory lane. So how the discount works is the emplyee would charge the item that they wanted and your emplyee discount would show on your carge card bill. Also the things with crazy discounts would be finds that should have being sold a long time ago. Found when cleaning up before do doing invantory. the managerys would put deep discounts on them. They would not be counted against the store.
Wade you can do a Yard Sale in your house and your neighbors will love you forever with all the beautiful stuff they could buy for less money.
Online best...open to the world. Some of those items will have a bidding war.
Vigermina Berrios in a yard sale you will get very little money. eBay is the place for those retro designer items .
Art glass (green vase at the videos beginning) is often expensive. The double glass silver footed bowl and the vase that matches are mercury glass.
Great find
Watching from the Philippines
Goodluck âș
That green vase looks like Formia Italy from the early 90's
Those bags are worth a lot cause they are Vintage most of the bags are now back in style good find you got a new subscriber
2009.. that was during one of our bad depressions. This woman probably had a great job and a severe shopping addiction until she couldnât support her habit anymore and had to let the unit go
table you are using to set boxes on is beautiful.
I would think the clothes would be way out of style if they have been boxed up for 23 years! But wow great stuff!!
No. It's been long enough for them to be "Retro". Everything old is new again.
I think all these expensive things need a lot of care to make them saleable. What do you do with smashed up shoes, no matter how good they were to begin with. I just don't know what can be done with them or the clothes, so wrinkled. Maybe they can come back to life with some TLC. Not sure.
@@seaside2001 ...they can all be restored.....you must know what youre doing. I hope they learn how or find somebody who does.
@@meetvirginia717 I hope so. There are some lovely shoes there.
People buying lockers or shopping at thrift stores do not buy clothes to wear. They buy things to sell, because if they are designer, and have some age to them, they are worth double or triple the tag price.
Ask me how stupid my friend felt when she brought an old plate with value of $100 in the microwave to heat her dinner and exploded the plate and the oven.
ALWAYS look up the value of anything bought at auction, in storage lockers or thrift stores before making plans for item before deciding it is worthless.
This was not untouched for 23 years! Just look at the movies you pulled out. Hustle and Flow-2005 and the newspaper is from 2009. Come on now!
I went from thinking this person was a wealthy shopaholic hoarder to a klepto. But she wasn't just a Macys cashier if she had a business card. She bought sometimes but I'm thinking she had "perks" too. Regardless, this lady seems to have had herself a private stash that started 23 years ago that she added to all the time. Then recently something happened to her.
I have a purse /handbag collection so I can so relate to the shoes and bags. You need to look at the Calvin Klein and Leviâs that could be vintage and worth a lot of money. Look through the designers clothing and you could sell it at vintage prices. You need to look at the green glass vase for a designer as glass art work has become expensive and collectible. Vintage Burberry carries a good resale price. You might need to do research on some of the designer items as they may have being a one man show and are now head designers at the big names. I like buying vintage designer clothing and there is a market out there. This lady had taste even in her home decor. Pewter is expensive see if you can find a name and look it up. The tea set that is spread over boxes could carry a value if it the complete set. Your linen is also a designer label and if it is vintage carries resale value. If you could find Victoria Secret museum it would be awesome to donate the underwire. Perfumes .... check the barcodes and scents another great find. Check on the designers website if there is a bar code. Vintage Christmas decor is also worth a bit. What an amazing haul.
Thank you for all the tips here Charmaine!
i really feel for her , she had no self worth , thats why people do that buy and buy with the hope they will feel more worthy, its so sad , nothing can make you feel worthy if you do not find it in yourself , but the tv keeps lying to you saying this will make you feel better and all it does is destroy your life , she lost her home and most likely her man because she could not stop and once she had it , she did not even use it , thats so very very sad to me , i pray she found self worth
Guys the person had the unit for that long if you read the other video description seeing as you are All quick to judge it! The person had been paying for it and obviously had a shopping addiction and she stored it all in there! They probably passed away so the storage unit came up for auction is how he came about it!
The tiny vintage NWT Dooney isTO DIE FOR
Johnson Brothers, especially if it's vintage, is worth money - I LOVE Johnson Brothers!
Love the dooney's Dooney & Bourke bags score on the unit.
Deshanna Kirkland i like the sling bag small
@@diosadordasgarcia2139 He got a great unit .
Deshanna Kirkland like the bag
This isnât a 23 year old storage unit.. but you have some great finds in there, this my firs time watching.
First*
Regardless, Wade, whenever it was locked up, it's cool "brand new" stuff. It's good that the stuff is new, because probably still in style.
I think some of the clothing hes shown is way nicer than the styles in the stores right now. I wish you would Ebay this unit!
Dude your intro is wayyy too long
I just fast forward. No full video view, then....
And so over dramatic lolz.
It's hilarious! Like an SNL skit. Hahaha.
I noticed that immediately too
Who asked you
Love the locker ! So many nice things and good income from the sales . Donât underestimate the books either !
I love watching the unboxing. Great videos
The pewter "cup" you found is for putting on the table to put your wine bottle in so no drips get on the linens.
Those poor DB purses all squished. I have a bunch of vintage ones and I have never come across the bucket style in my thrift stores and I love that style of the all weather leather and brown piping.
She worked at Sears or Robinson's May cause they give employees credit cards and then you could apply at the nearby stores and boom your approved. Debts add up quickly and the high of shopping takes awhile to slow down... Sad huh!
Dooney and Burke is high end. These purse's are worth a lot! Retro!
Glad to see you remembered your knife .lol
I have never understood the fascination with high dollar ugly purses. It is great for you guys that so many others love them I just don't understand it. Lol
The sneezing! I know how that feels! I'm a UK based online reselller and I bloody love having your videos on in the background whilst im working!
Some of those books are valuable.
you guys are my favorite channel to watch glad you are back!!
TABLE..YES
Looks like a jade vase the green one
Yes! Glad to see you back in the units.
Love your driver too.
If she worked at Macyâs, a lot of those items might be returns or clearance item. But she obviously had high class taste. I mean, Lenox? Thatâs the good stuff.
Consider getting a DJI OSMO steafy-cam them put it on a looong pole so you can birds-eye vies the back of a unig from the front.
A snapshot of a life spent shopping. She left it all behind.
I was just thinking maybe she worked at the stores and kept the people's receipts and then had someone else come in and steal the stuff so they would have a receipt and then they couldn't get in trouble đ their is a lot of ways to get away with stealing things that's why she has so much brand new things đ pretty sneaky đđ she was trying to have her own store đ lol k well just something to think about I don't know if that's what happened but I have heard of that happening before I used to work in the retail and heard alot of different stories of how people did things like that đ k well be safe and God bless you đ đ y'all have a great weekend and good luck on your next adventures
I worked in a major department store when I was young and knew employees who did that. A security guard checked as we left the store with merchandise but never looked at the names on the receipts. Employees who did that loved people who paid cash.
Well it was a nice table
Dooney purses you can still get full value for those awesome score first time watching your Channel will be back and will subscribe
Wow, a shopaholic or a really skilled shoplifter...just...wow
Dont think either of those is correct.
Most of the things probably purchased on credit cards....
Amazing find for you and Ashley
How was the unit sealed for 23 years? The Hustle & Flow movie was released in 2005 and All the Kings Men was in 2006.
And the newspaper was 2009 :).. I have been wondering the same thing.
Those are remakes
@@bethking7212 even if the movies are remakes of originals those remakes/dvds he showed in the box were released in 2005 and 2006. I just researched hustle & flow with Terrance Howard. It's an original movie released in 2005, not a remake. Not a big deal though. Maybe he was told it was sealed for 23 years and he didnt notice the release dates for some of those movies.
It was rented that long...never heard him say it was licked upvall those 23yrs. Read the "show more" Wade talks about it there and in many comments and replies
@@meetvirginia717 Are you his biggest fan? You sure have a lot to say
Keeps getting better đ€ sorry posted this on last video
Nice unit, this is awesome! Congratulations!
Glad to have you and mama back!!!
SOME 20 - 30 year olds are totally into vintage (to them vintage is 90's) hehe
- STEAM CLEAN, Have a cute daughter/niece/neighbor style those outfits in Instagram style pics, and post on THREDUP ---- 90'S IS BACK in that generation
Things like old school random sponsor shirts with adds on them can sell for $50-$60 !!!
I kinda think she was working at the mall or at Dillard or macys
That green vase is probably a collectible, and worth more now! It has been in storage for a while. Meir and Frank also!
The green base could Lalique Cristal and it is very expensive
Lalique is always clearly labeled.
You have some amazing stuff there. Those Dooney purses should bring you a fortune. People love vintage.
Wade you have to keep in mind that cosmetics and fragrances can go bad. If any of it smells bad donât use it!
I died slowly each time he would slide the boxes on the table đ
All the dooney an bourke LEATHER GOODS,THE SMALL BUCKIT PURSE RETAILS 4 300.BEANS,LARGER ONES 495.AND UP.
21;00 I guess it's your peragative, but didn't you feel me slapping your cheeks? lol
Please number your videos so we know if we have seen it! Thanking you ahead of time. If they are part two tryâs letter with the ie 12a
Whoa! Thereâs a whole, thereâs a whole, thereâs a whole garbage bag of designer bags! And he begins showing clothes. And more clothes. And shoes. I presume the designer bags are being saved to the end. Btw, the thing they say about big feet pertains to men, I believe.
Kristine Guetschow You have to wait until tomorrow thereâs four videos to the storage unit
@@WadesVentures This unit and how you went about everything may coast you some subs....lets wait and see, shall we.
Meet Virginia well actually he gained a sub with me!
Meet Virginia what did he do wrong?
I am so happy for you both. I hope that you get an even better amount of money for everything. Good luck dears.
The retail stores don't change the tags on the items, (the changes happen at the register through something like an employee barcoded discount card) Although there are times went items become discontinued, the employees get most of those said items for pennies on the dollar. Most of the time, employees don't get that great of a discount in most retail stores, 5% to 10%. The companies & corporations are greedy & they'll get as much as they can from everyone, including those that do all their work.
Where do you sell this stuff? Iâd like to see the item of clothing hanging up with the size exposed so we know what size they all are. I would really like to purchase a few things!id like the camping equipment too. I really like the small D & B draw string purse that is small. I also like the black jacket a t 32:50. It has the gold metal and black matching belt. I also like the black wedge sandals at 34:58 too! What size are they?at 46:22 there are two silver canisters that match the set I have had for almost 20 years! Iâd loved to get those also if possible?
Glad you have some new videos always interesting đŹđ§đŹđ§đŹđ§
How do you get the musty smell out of all that stuff?
I like the 2 dooney and bourke bucket bag,i checked your poshmark closet,it doesn't list đ
Very interesting and exciting but why must you undo everything that has been so carefully packed when you know it is eg kitchen stuff etc. surely it would be easier to transport in packed boxes. I just hope I can find the continuation video. Cheers
When I worked retail we had a regular customer who would come in, buy a bunch of stuff and return it a week later, still in the packages unopened. After she had done this for over six months she finally just blurted out that she had a shopping addiction. She didn't need or want the stuff she bought, but couldn't stop herself from buying it. And she really couldn't afford it.
Like Carrie Heffernan did on an old episode of King of Queens. :)
Is this part 2 of the lady's storage unit i watched yesterday as it's the same table your useing.
I think she has a store and those stuffs from her store. Mostly are new! And maybe some her personal stuffs.
Holy Hannah!! What a score. Let us know how much you make!
My impression is that this woman in her 50s, probably unmarried with no kids, and financially she was comfortable or she may be have spent all her earned money on shopping. She appeared to once lived in a large space, I guess a loft.
She may have lived close to a Mall or worked in a Mall. Her shopping habits seemed buying brands names on a bargain, not because she want or even she like, just because brand name on a discounted price. That explains why many items still tagged on.
Things after her move, or eviction, turned tough and then tougher.
I hope we can know what happened to her. It makes me sad to see someone was able to collect all these items and not able to enjoy them or even to keep them.
I wish we also have this (storage unit) in philippines. I would love to buy storage units like this. This is such a steal! đ
