I built my pc in 2022, and my god I had like 50 problems on that day when I tried to boot it. Turning on and off seemingly at random, Frequent crashes, etc. Then it just suddenly stop having problems, and has been working perfectly fine ever since. But really building not too hard, u just gotta do some research on how to build it and use some patience. I recently upgraded my graphics card for Christmas (was using a old used one), and has been working beautifully.

I don't know if you're gonna read this but if you're still looking for a haircut i really recommend getting the low taper with no lineup and an occassional trim on the top and back of your head half an inch. Plenty of videos on tiktok about the haircut that I am referring to.

I got a Spiderman 2 PS5, the bundle is the coolest, I got the game and the face plates and dualsense, they are amazing, I didnt even have a ps5 before I just got the bundle for becoming more responsible this year according to my dad

Lewis I had a fantastic Christmas! I got a ton of manga for my shelf (Vagabond, Monster, Dandadan, Akira, and Dorohedoro) and I got the Metal Gear collection on my PS5 and I got the new Mario RPG. AND its recently been confirmed I’m going to London with grandparents when I graduate!!! Marry Christmas and a happy new year Lewis!

I built my first ever pc like a month ago and I used to have to exact same look on pc building as you, but after doing it for the first time I can say you have to be reeeaal dumb or just impatient to get something so badly wrong it damages the parts. As long as you make sure all your parts are compatible (which you can easily do on pcpartpicker) and you follow a guide when building, you're good
and there's the bonus of flexing to your friends that you've built your own pc
Also built mine a few months back, mad how much cheaper it is than a pre built and you can ensure that the parts you use are actually good not some shit ibuypower cooler or smth

installing emudeck was one of the best decisions ive made. like i've bought the mgs, persona, and silent hill games for the playstation but it just feels so much better to have them portable on the steam deck.

I also got a couple of Sonic The Hedgehog merchandise including Sonic Origins Plus for Nintendo Switch. I didn’t got the PS5 this past Christmas, but I’m planning to get one next year. About the custom PC thing, I have to disagree Lewis. I went into it with basically no prior knowledge, but I watched a ton of tutorials to make sure I had all the risks covered, took all the safety measures and was basically just extremely careful during the process. And it works great. I have the best PC out of anyone I know and I built it myself, without a single problem

Yooo i didn't know you had a steam deck thats sick! i've had mine since april 2023 and im still absolutely loving it, Just finished horizon zero dawn on the deck, Its such a good device probably the best piece of tech i've ever purchased, I've done some PS2 emulation too its amazing.
Got a pull up bar, some games, and a gaming laptop, it can run basically most of modern gen games nowadays

I got a bunch of 4K Blu-ray’s of some of my favorite movies for crimma. I wanna own a bunch of physical media because I think streaming is starting to show its true colors and reveal its chokeholds. I don’t have to pay monthly subscriptions for movies and shows playing multiple ads, and I don’t have to deal with the image quality buffering constantly since I own my favs in pristine quality with zero ads!

I got red dead redemption 2 for Christmas. It’s a great videogame and it has a great story and insane details/graphics. I highly recommend it. But you probably already heard about it.

I got Skyword Sword HD for Christmas on the Switch. It’s still on the shelf sealed because first I have to finish Ocarina Of Time and then start Majora’s Mask, The Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD… huge Zelda backlog. Although, I love Zelda so that’s a good thing.

It's not that easy to fuck up a self built setup, but if certain things go as unexpected it does come in handy to have some nerd knowledge to properly troubleshoot. Otherwise you're just better off dropping it off a pc shop and save urself some headaches
