Jev has grown so much as a creator over the years. I remember when he was still at his grandparents around the time of MWR and stuff. He used to be weird about even a small gfuel ad read. Now he does it flawlessly and instantly cuts to the video. Proud of how far you’ve come Jev!! Also so hype for Xdefiant. I’ll be playing the shit out of it at launch.

I just have to say that we definitely understand that this is a work in progress game because I can't even remember if the Ubisoft logo was there last time anyone played this or not because I definitely haven't played it but my God does that logo absolutely drain my soul of any confidence that this game has a good future
The detailed stats in this game(hell even in Call of Duty) are so underappreciated. Sure, you could make the argument that they're not accurate too, but to even have that level of detail is really cool.
I'm still looking forward to XDefiant releasing, despite how long it's been taking for it to launch.

the map attica heights is a throwback to an older, pretty popular game called ghost recon phantoms that had the map; the phantoms' hero class in this game is also a reference to grp
the games' servers were eventually shut down unfortunately. had so much fun on that game and makes me happy that they didn't forget about it.

Depending on how much depth there is to the audio cue it can definitely hold some serious knowledge. The only game I can think of with audio cues like this is siege and it is massive how much a player who knows the audio can do vs a player who doesnt.

This game reminds me more of Brink with the different characters, the way the guns look, the voice actor doing the call outs, and the hit marker/damage noises. Reminds me of Brink way more than CoD.

There's 2 things I don't like about cod that XDefiant does right. One is that there is no SBMM in XDefiant which is my preference. Two is that XDefiant actually has personality to it, much like the older cods, it's not too realistic and feels memorable in terms of art style and such

@@R17759 The more realistic the game looks and feels, the less personality it has imo. There's probably more factors to it, but the newer cods just lack the personality that other cods such as BO2, BO3, AW, and a bunch more has.

After the last test were biggest problem was hit detection, we now delayed the game around a year but didnt fix hit detection. We made even worse. After this test we now know see its still a problem, so we have to delay and do nothing, again.Sincerely Ubisoft
No kill streaks/score streaks will be the reason why I won't be able to play this game long term because like you said, you have no in game thing to work for. Even Halo had the "KILLING SPREE!" "Double kill!" greatest game voice ever which made you want to earn that and work for streaks. Maybe having the 3 biggest and most important things that COD took away from us, being no SBMM, no disbanding lobbies and a prestige system will be something that makes me want to play it more, but we'll see. The ONLY thing it's miss is in game streak rewards.
If they do kill streaks/score streaks Activision would just come in and ruin it by doing a cease and desist
I prefer spending more time playing the shooter instead of playing a minigame where i hold the shoot button and get 30 free kills

Well that’s why he avoids it. Also add on him saying that beating him in a 1-life mode means nothing or doesn’t prove you’re better. He’s clearly just not as good at things like S&D, which is fine, but he always has an ego about it.
I just recently saw people arguing over a clip of him saying he’s flat-out better at ALL types of games than most people (not just FPS). Like given the same amount of time to play he’d win at everything. Just funny that it must not include anything he dislikes.
I enjoy the man’s content, but sometimes he just needs to stop and listen to how ridiculous some of the things he says are lol. Popularity isn’t a measure of skill

My favourite part about xdefiant is i dropped 42 kills and 13 deaths one game and the next game i wanted to try out snipping and i didnt go against try hards so i had fun the next game just fucking around trying to 360 people and i didnt get punished for doing well haha
