You could have used solid fertilizer if that spreader accepts both and saved yourself a purchase of the sprayer and liquid fert. Solid fert lasts quite a while even though it seems expensive and since you plowed the field you wont have to worry about weeds yet. Only critique, otherwise nice use of the landscaping tool and decision making.

One of the best vehicles to use early on is the Mercedes Unimog. It's basically a pick-up but also act as a tractor and has quite a few customizable options like variable bed sizes, engine sizes and front and rear PTO options for various farm machinery. It's also cheaper than equivalent tractor options.
