It's actually sorghum grass! Pretty easy to get seed. I have a lot of it that my friend gave me. I grew broomcorn for the first time this year. I think I have enough to make one broom.

The seed I grew this year in my garden was called Hungarian Broom Sorghum. It did really well in the arid, high altitude climate here.

That's how the plant naturally grows. Broomcorn isn't the same plant as maize. It's where we get sorghum from.
