No shield no power. Rank 1 would have been possible with better pylons.
I'm back to ring of fire. Still F&R though. I still think shard of hatred will win out in the end but after back-to-backing them I'm getting more consistent results with ring of fire, even at this paragon.
As always, I do not play with illegal overlays, bot, or accept materials from bots. This clear is completely legitimate.

Great work! Can you explain the right way to actually play this build? How do you always have 5 traps down?

Basically I set the traps up, detonate with the generator, and as the previously set ones are detonated I am immediately setting up the new traps so the number on the buff bar doesn't always decrease. Still need to make sure you get at least five sets out though.
