I recommend the SSG-10, Novritsch sells it well built, a few custom parts, quality tested, somewhat reasonably priced, and they value loyal customers (you get a lot of coupons, patches, stickers, etc with most purchases). The SSG10 is also just fantastic, I love the M24 and the SSG-10 is literally that, but Airsoft. Great spring, lasts VERY long. Use heavy BBs, like around 0.43-0.55 grams. They're FAR more accurate, have a MUCH higher velocity and are effected much less by the environment. The gun itself is fairly light, has a rubberized body, is VERY easy to modify, has a great mag well that doesn't fail, no feeding problems, and is VERY durable. The only complain I have is the price point, as you can build a bolt-action of similar/same quality for more or less 80-130$ cheaper, but you have to pay for shipping, buy on separate sites, and possibly fuck up and lose hundreds. I recommend Novritsch, he sells expensive gear, but it is QUALITY gear. Haven't had anything fail, I have spent 540$ on the site.

DMR’s aren’t assigned to standard infantrymen and are usually assisted to “specialists” or “snipers” in this case, so calling a DMR a sniper is a fair point. Also the 1022 has seen use in the hands of the IDF in a marksman’s role so still a fair statement 😁
But in real life precision bolt guns are for 800 plus yard accuracy the DMR fills the sniper role in medium range engagements and functions as a standard battle rifle so in aorsoft a DMR is much better for a sniper since you don't get long range capabilities in airsoft and need too be able too fight much closer you fill both roles . Having a single shot bolt gun in airsoft is for fun and aesthetics its tactically horrible and puts you at a huge disadvantage

Bolt is always good.
Green gas loses power in the cold but works great rest of the year.
CO2 works well all year round and shoots a tad harder.
