Hi all!
Love starting the new year off with a classical tune (or a Romantic piece if you want to get technical). I've did my fair share of studying Verdi in school. His music is really super if you get a chance to give him a good listen, especially his operas. And from what I remember, he would have been even bigger in Italy and abroad if he wasn't a dick haha. There's transcriptions hanging around that he wasn't too pleasant to deal with and his personality was extremely disliked. Oh well haha, the man birthed some great music! As always, thanks so much for hangin around. You're the best. Hope your 2024 rocks! See you next week.
Much love

Symphonic metal is the natural evolution of classical symphony and opera; no one can tell me different. 🤘
10000% we fight together!!!
Nobody can tell you different, because you’re 🎯
Definitely! Especially some composers, no one doubts that they would have been metalheads. Mussorgsky, for example.
@@ArgentumFox At a TSO show, I once referred to several classical composers as "wig-bangers", saying they would love the heavy metal / hard rock treatment of their work.
@@ArgentumFox Tchaikovsky would have been a metalhead for sure. When you use cannons as percussion, you’re already hardcore.
Imagine all these great old masters having electric Instruments back then.
Would have been a scene 😂
Especially Vivaldi
Q: Who would win if we could resurrect Vivaldi, Paganini, and Beethoven for a metal music competition?
A: We all would! 😁
@@lew526 haha absolutely everyone!
Let's not imagine 😊 let's ask Eric to show us instead! 😂
Verdi After Midnight or Bodom After Verdi? :)
Amazing job!! I really enjoy listening and watching your videos. Curious....how long did it take you to learn this song from start to finish? (estimate in hours)?? Always wondered how long it takes someone at your level to learn a new song like this
@@JSRJS honestly it’s exactly like a day job, depending on the song - 30 to 40 hours a week ☺️☺️
@@JSRJS then again, I will admit I have perfectionist syndrome so I probably would take longer than most anyway
Holey Moley, great job!!! I really love all your classical stuff!! Thank you so much Eric, for what you've given and continue to give to this world, you're an inexhaustible source of positivity and inspiration!! 🤘🖤🤘
The former because it's Verdi after having been given the Midnight treatment.
This is perfect. I love all of your classic covers.
🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Please continues to reproduce great pieces of classical music! it's just amazing
You got it!!
I love classical music done as metal, it transposes so well….fantastic work man 🤘🏼
Couldn’t agree more my friend!
I Remember watching this guy and enjoying his old covers. Im loving this already
🙏🏻☺️🙏🏻 15 years this year my friend, thanks for still be here ❤️
Man, imagine if this were the end boss music for an actually GOOD 3D Castlevania game! There are sections that even remind me of Bloody Tears!
Castlevania has some of the best video game music ever!
Holy crap, it was awesome from the beginning, but the CoB part kicking in immediately gave me chills. So sick!
🤘🏼😬😬🤘🏼
Bro! Do more classical covers! This slaps so hard!
On the way!! 🤘🏼☺️🤘🏼
One can See, you're really enjoying ripping your guitar, it's always a pleasure to listen.

I remember rocking out to your covers way back in highschool.
Glad to see you're still active as ever.
15 years this year my friend! Thanks for being here for the long haul! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@331Erock Hell yea, brother.

You never fail to impress when you do these classic meets metal videos.

Neo-Classical Metal is a gift.
Agreed!
Love you humor while playing. The extra panache.... the flick and swish.
OH, WHAT A DAY, WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
My whole life I've loved the combination of symphony and metal (thanks dad) and this is brilliant! Another banger from you, but I would not expect any different 🖤
This is just brilliant, well put together, harmonious and a wonderful adaptation of a dramatic classical work!
If aliens ever invade earth with the intent to destroy humanity, I hope they at least have the decency to blast this song as they do it.
Amazing work! 🤘🤘
Haha I’d be fine with the invasion.
A nice man suggested me to hear you. I thank him that I did. keep on doing your art, you are helping us the lost souls of metal.
Brilliant, Eric! 🤟

when Bodom After Midnight kicked in, I had the widest smile
😬😬😬
I've loved this song for decades! Love this cover!
It’s brutal on its own! So good!

Thank YOU my friend!
That children of bodom Solo, you Thru, in, there was amazing. Almost made me tear up a bit. And I thank you for playing It.
R.I.P. Alexi
Can’t beat him ❤️❤️
@@331Erock For reals. One of my favorite frontmen and guitarists of all time. Alexi is a legend.
This is now the definitive version of this song forever in my head.
My God in Heaven!
Absolute perfection. My windows shake. The canyon echos.
And to top off this masterpiece, my man throws in a children of bodom Easter Easter egg….NICE!!!🤘🏻

A+++
Somehow makes me want to dig up some oldschool Luca Turilli all of a sudden... Demonheart comes to mind. Would be a great song for an Erock version, as well.
Always loved me some Luca!!
Epic! You made my Day
🤘🏼🤘🏼☺️🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice to see you're still doing stuff ive been a fan since Braveheart meets Metal, 11 years ago
I think much like fine wine the older you get the better you get.
Every time I see someone (talented) do a metal cover of classical music it ALWAYS comes out amazing.
More proof for me that if they were born 200 years later they’d have been MASSIVE metalheads.
Any plans to cover Mozart’s Leck Mich I’m Arsche? Could be VERY funny.
Excellent !
🤘🏼🤘🏼☺️🤘🏼🤘🏼
I think the classical stuff is the ORIGINAL METAL. Goes so hard !!
Well done Eric \m/ \m/
Another one that kicks ass! Keep it up!!
So cool
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
So sick!!!! That JACKSON😍😍😍😍😍😍
🤘🏼🤘🏼☺️🤘🏼🤘🏼
I spoted some bodom within ! Love it !
You spot correctly 🤘🏼🤘🏼☺️🤘🏼🤘🏼
PERFECT & BEAUTIFUL
OMG, that's about it!!
Fabulous 👏👏👏
this is now even more epic!
Greetings from Italy!

Forget the modern, watered-down (and meaningless) uses of awesome; the Verdi Requiem is truly awesome, as in inspiring awe. Listening to a masterful performance is a truly transcendent experience. Thanks for a sample, giving it a modern interpretation.

BRO! You really snuck in some of Hans Zimmer's opening from The Rock in there??? SICK!
An inception, yes it is exactly that but also the bridge in Bodom After Midnight which was based off of HZ’s soundtrack.
@@331Erock Oh ye gods... Riffception.
I think this works well, proof that the electric guitar can work in 'through-composed' music. Bravo.
GORGEOUS BUDDY
