It just looks solid. Big turrets, big numbers and solid enough to knock out a boar. I like the red. Sometimes you want your pistol or rifle in FDE or ODG instead of basic black. And sometimes you want your scope with Ferrari red accents.
Been using Steiner and Burris for years and prefer them over other scopes from other manufacturers with higher price points. I've sold quite a few high end scopes in preference of these for years and some people questioned me, saying you had xxxxx or xxxxxx and rather have burris/steiner and I always said yes without hesitation. Glad to see them continually improving without trying to make radical changes like others and failing.
Thanks for the comment RazorJB and I totally agree. Been using Burris and shooting for them for over a year now with zero issues. They make solid products at a great price. Their lifetime warranty just adds to the value. I am genuinely impressed with this scope. I hope you have been well. 👍🏼
Thinking about grabbing one of these to throw on a switch barrel, where that zero adjust setup is very appealing. The fact that a locking diopter isnt standard on all 1500+ optics still baffles me. Such a nice feature. Please drop the red or give me the option of black. Pretty please....
Awesome video man! Couple questions quick, one being what do you think of the tremor 5 reticle? Would love if you could make a quick video on that. Other being 5 months down the road now, what are you thinking about the scope?
I looked at the XTR 3 and the Mark 5 side by side and I like the Leupold glass better. Based on what you see how does the glass of the pro compare to the Mark 5?
Does the throw lever come with it as well as the race turret? And is it optically better than the XTR 3? I’m glad they changed the knurling on the turrets as the xtrIII is sharp. Hopefully it doesn’t only come in red.
Can have all of the gimmicks but it all comes down to reticle and glass. Last time i heard glass was made in the Philippines. Looks fancy on the Spuhr mount.
Is anyone doing a review talk about the glass? Burris says it’s better than the xtr III but no reviewers talk about it???? The features seem great but if the glass isn’t better than the III then it’s not worth it.
The one thing I really like about this channel is your taste in the finer things in life 😍
I love my Burris XTR lll’s. Thank you for sharing!! I love your channel.
Nice scope. Thanks for sharing all the details. Have a good week sir.

Ray, Interesting new offering from Burris. And, FINALLY a lit reticle. The missing option in their high end scopes. Not liking the Red so much though.

@@XRING Doing well, and hope you are as well! Stay safe! Strength and Honor 🙏
OMG! I want that! Thanks for sharing!
That’s a really nice optic I love that zero stop feature Adjustment and the fact that it is Toolis is really super nice
We live in a Golden Age of good stuff.
Looks amazing look forward to the public release
Great job sir
Pretty cool cam design
Looks pretty slick!
Nice options!
Damn that looks awesome.
Thats pretty! Bigger numbers are good to go!👍👍😀😀🍻🍻
That looks awesome! Looks like it has everything I need! Between what Vortex just released, the Mark 5, then this?? 👍😃
X-ring , king of latest and greatest toys. 😀😃

nice self portrait Camera man!
Does the spuhr leveling wedge clear the parallax dial? Thanks
Nice scope! I'm not a fan of the red though.
Only took one year to change 81million into 33% aproval. If it was 81m in the first place!
Red is cringe.
Dude get a grip. Its for sniping Robins.
@@dragonflyfab9703 😂😂😂
The red turns brown in the shade that's why it's safety orange and not red in the woods sir.
Nice
Ya Ray, welcome back to the XRing. What was that a two week vacay? Missed your videos btw 👍
When you mount a scope do you lap the mount or is that not necessary for ertac/spuhr etc mounting systems? Just torque and go?
I have scope envy.

In your opinion, what is minimum parallax needed for NRL22. I like a specific scope but minimum parallax is 50 yds. This scope is my next choice.
Nice glass, come in blue?
Could you please tell me what height Spuhr mount you use for the XTR-Pro? Thanks
The red is different and could make finding your rifle easier

Yes the throw lever is included.
@@BurrisOpticsCompany This thing is slick. I'm excited to get one and try it at PRS matches. If Ray says it's good that's all I need to hear.
Anyone able to run one of these for awhile yet?
Keep wanting to grab one just seems like there is so little info on / experience with em out there

The glass is not made in the Phillipines on this scope.
not 100%, but fairly certain this is a LOW produced scope
Thank You Sir! That is good news about the lens quality (comments below) 👍🇺🇸 #22aday
Price?
How does it compare to an ATACR?
Good question and what is the internal elevation cheers Yogi Australia 🇦🇺 🤙🤙
Super great. How is the glass?
Glass is on par with the XTR III. I would definitely liken it to the Razor HD glass by Vortex.
@@XRING Have you used a Trijicon Tenmile? Curious how it would compare?
Burris claims better glass on the pro over the xtr III, that’s a shame to hear.
@@XRINGyou prefer the glass on this over vortex razor gen2
How much internal elevation travel does it have?
29 MIL
Website says 26 Mils for all 3 models?

That mount looks like it would survive a nuclear blast.
Well, doesn’t matter how good it is when it has red anodizing.
Who was that clown in the back ground at the end? IY6C
That is Sam from Trunkmonkey. Happy New Year!
Some Droids will buy it just for the color!
