- KC and the Sunshine Band es una banda estadounidense formada en 1973 en Miami, que se especializó en la música disco, Funk, R&B, Pop-Rock y Dance. La banda fue formada por Richard Finch y el vocalista y líder Harry Wayne Casey, el propio Harry transformó su apellido "Casey" en : "K C". Entre sus canciones más conocidas destacan "That's the way (I like it)", "Shake your booty", "Get Down Tonight","I'm Your Boogie Man", "Please Don't Go" y "Give It Up"

That's so great that he's still at it. And I'm not that surprised, because his enthusiasm was obvious and real joy was all over his face. I love "Shake, Shake, Shake", too, that's some awfully good dance music!
+Aunt Barbara I recall my sons coming home from high school after having worked out in the weight room listening to "garbage" (their word) over the intercom, and, after voicing their distaste for their own generation's music, suggested it was unfair that my generation "had all the good music." That comment stuck in my memory...and, yes, to a significant extent it seems we did. I particularly enjoyed the disco era. Your word "joy" is spot on.

por supuesto yo. desde Tenerife. España. esto si que es música no la porquería de hoy en dia la verdad que eran buenos, mejor dicho buenísimos.
Musicalmente hablando desde que KC logro su primer gran hit en 1975 con " That `s the Way I Like it " , hasta que finalizo con su ultimo gran hit " Give it Up " en 1983 , esta Banda marco mi juventud sin lugar a dudas ( de los 18 a los 26 ) . Fueron lo maximo de aquella epoca aca en Chile y de seguro en todos los demas paises , disfrute bailando todos tus grandes exitos . Gracias por tu fenomenal aporte a la musica KC !

KC orgullo de Miami Lakes, Hialeah, en Cuba tuvo miles de fans, los seguiamosn por las radios de FM que llegaban a la isla, con unas antenas de FM les decian TMH, bailamos, nos enamoramos, sufrimos con KC, ellos son unos de los mejores de su epoca.
Grupazo y temazo. Todo un clásico. No soy de esa época, pero me encanta. Me imagino que heredé el gusto de mis padres que bailaron intensamente esta música. Gracias por subirlo...

With the exception of I'm Your Boogie Man, most KC & SSB songs tend to repeat the same words over and over But their music was & is so incredible for dancing and I was lucky enough to be a teenager in the 70s So the repeating lyrics never really became that redundant especially when you were out on the dance floor with your favorite girl. (Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty is the only song in music history where its name starts with the same 4 words--redundancy again I know but some how KC made it work & was able to earn 5 number 1 hit singles Best music ever to come out of Florida!
