Do I need to remove the original front from of the TV or just need to tape this frame on top of the one that my TV has? I have a 42 inch that I want to convert to a touch screen monitor. Also my question is if it works with Mac OSX or it is only Windows compatible. Also if I need to do Calibrations how should it be done? Do you provide any document or guide for the Calibration process?

+jamil1985 Of corse not^^^you would have to put an extra layer of glass between you tv and the frame
+jamil1985 I think yes, as long as you have the touch panel touching from the back side to the TV screen.... Or may be if you can use a very thin transparent acrylic glass just below the touch panel that will give the strength to your touch panel as well as protect the TV screen from any external damage. You gotta be sure that you dont throw, drop or deliberately push it so hard, otherwise of course it will damage.
No because it would activate the touch screen sense it's sensor detected it will detect anything that touches the screen
depending on how thick the toughen glass that you use

I know it sounds stupid but would this work with a projector, (this idea is based on the idea that the conversion screen knows where the tv screen is and responds accordingly onto the monitor using the usb and hdmi

Can we use a larger frame on a smaller led tv? I.e. Using a 70" frame on a 43" tv. Are we able to do a calibration on the frame to only detect the area of the tv?

Yes. Windows 7 / 8 detects the touch conversion frame automatically, an onscreen keyboard can be slide out from the left side of the screen.

any stylus with 5mm diameter will work. It is not pressure sensitive

The touch screen frame works like a usb mouse. A computer and a display screen are required.

another awesome use for this is to get the biggest one and stick it to a wall and point a projector at the frame like its a projector screen and then get a usb extender and plug it into your computer if its gonna be further away than the original cable
