while I was never a fan of My Chemical Romance I always admired there fans dedication and support even after years later. I always hated the emo label people gave them. This was probably one of my favorite songs by them.
Skylines and Turnstyles was the first song Gerard Way wrote and they released. He wrote it after witnessing the World Trade Centers falling on 9/11/2001 as he was in transit from New Jersey to Manhattan for art school. This song is a remembrance of 9/11 years later.
In 2010 this video was posted with a link for download. Little did the youtuber know.....that Megaupload would soon be destroyed by the Fire Nation....

This song is amazing. MCR is just a fantastic band that doesn't get enough recognition for the music they have brought to our world. We can all agree on that, we can also agree that their new music is different, but still good in it's own way. Music evolves, MCR is a beautiful example of such an occurrence. MCR for the win and all the way!

THIS REMINDS ME OF THE WHOLE KILLJOY PLOTLINE FOR DANGER DAYS AND HOW THEY ALL DIED
So this song was supposed to be the third music video, (along with Sing and Na Na Na) but it didn't work out. Imagine this as a music video and the story line in it.
I remember first hearing this song after I kind of got out of MCR. I still liked it but I moved on to different music at the time. Hearing Gerard sing "Remember Me?" made me cry.
I feel back into the My Chem void inside ever since.

You know what I love about MCR? The reason why they decided to change things up and go synth-rock-pop is because they want to appeal to a large amount of people because their goal is to save lives.

This is probably my favorite song off of the Danger Days Album. All the guitar chords, and lyrics, and pitches, they all fit together in amazing harmony. I'd rather listen and enjoy the music, rather then sit as two idiots go at it on the comments for no reason. Listen to the music. Listen to the Beauty. Don't fight. Friendly Fire shouldn't be tolerated in the MCRmy.

MCR is a style, a feeling, an idea - and I'm sure that MCR was always really proud of us, the Killjoys, the members of the Black Parade, and the eternal parts of the MCRmy.

The band was formed in the wake of 9/11. There are a lot of 9/11 references in their songs and videos. I think the one in this song is the most prominent one, alongside "Skylines and Turnistles".
