I love this song yet it's like a slap in the face; it's an incessant reminder that the story's over. This is really the only band that relates to me these days. Even if you're not sure how it relates to you exactly, you can really feel their music and understand their songs deep within your soul, even if you can't conjure what it means and the complete meaning is unfathomable. This song unfortunately puts out the inevitable truth for us all to face. We must face the inevitable and cold truth: The Black Parade is dead. The Killjoys are hanging up their instruments, and the Black Parade has stopped marching with its rhythmic tune.

Back when I was in my emo phase it made me sad, but now... it makes me feel good. Remembering and loving my past self yet being happy to grow up and move on. I love this song.
The saddest thing in life is knowing things can never go back to the way they once were. The hardest part--for me--when I heard MCR broke up was knowing nothing is forever. This band made me happy and wild when I first heard them, and they still do, but I'm all grown up now. I still love their music, and nothing could ever change that, but what really hurts is knowing everything must come to an end. Not everything can last.

This song is so beautiful. The whole album is perfect. I can't believe it's been over a year since I was sitting there intensely listening to the 'Listening Party' that MCR posted a few weeks before the album release. It was so perfect. The excitement, the tedious wait for the album release. Perfect.
I never knew i needed this song until now I haven't heard many songs from MCR but i know that they've saved countless people's lives including their own so i respect them way more than a pop group who literally steals songs without credit (yes 1D has stolen some measures of songs look it up). I may not like all of their songs but i know they're amazing people and i respect them for that.

Because everyone has a bad time in its life, and you keep home, keep frustrated and just do nothing, but watching tv or looking aroug the internet. But your friends and family are the ones that help. That song is really deep for everyone. Everyone has a story to it. And that's really, really wonderful.
I just remember at the beginning of last year feeling so helpless and suicidal and wanting to die and then i heard this song and a few of their other songs that i hadn't heard from them before and it turned around a bit... My Chemical Romance have gotten me through so much and I'll always look to them for inspiration and comfort when i need cheering up... i love them so much and wish they were still making music together... This is why i can say, "My Chemical Romance saved my life." and have it be true.

I havent listened to MCR since they broke up, nor any emo/post-hardcore band for that matter, but I came back to hear this song. And I'm glad I did. This song is really damn powerful. Back when I was in my emo phase it made me sad, but now... it makes me feel good. Remembering and loving my past self yet being happy to grow up and move on. I love this song.

The saddest thing in life is knowing things can never go back to the way they once were. The hardest part--for me--when I heard MCR broke up was knowing nothing is forever. This band made me happy and wild when I first heard them, and they still do, but I'm all grown up now. I still love their music, and nothing could ever change that, but what really hurts is knowing everything must come to an end. Not everything can last.

I can't believe it's been over a year since I was sitting there intensely listening to the 'Listening Party' that MCR posted a few weeks before the album release. It was so perfect. The excitement, the tedious wait for the album release. Perfect.
I never knew i needed this song until now
I haven't heard many songs from MCR but i know that they've saved countless people's lives including their own so i respect them way more than a pop group who literally steals songs without credit (yes 1D has stolen some measures of songs look it up). I may not like all of their songs but i know they're amazing people and i respect them for that.

i love the song and i know there moving on they broke up for reasons but it still hurts. they are my favorite band and they are everything to me. i had refused to listen to the song after the break up because i knew it will make me sad and i was right here i am now listening to it in tears. there memory will carry on. they have there lives to live and i am happy that they are happy but deep down inside i will never be truly happy about this and i will always miss them.

I saw these guys live two nights ago and they sang this song, every single person in the crowd sang along and gerard sang perfectly. He's amazing, the whole band is. I will always love these guys, they saved my life when I was younger, without them I wouldn't be here.
I remember when I was younger and I always listened to their music and loved it so much. And the older I get the more I realize I never truly understood it, there are some pains you only feel with getting older, and these songs just mean more and more as you start to understand what they're really saying

This song is honestly one of the most emotional songs that they had ever written and everytime I listen to it I feel like a dam about to burst, it's like they're reminiscing on their memories together, it's so nostalgic for me, honestly, it also gives off a strong 80's aesthetic too which makes it even more emotional.
I'm a teen of the 80's and have seen over 200 rock and metal concerts in my life and I'm definitely into MCR. Music has NO LIMITS!
