Today we face off against a giant sausage challenge featuring beef short rib, steak house, chicken, and all other kinds of great sausages along with mac & cheese, pickles, salad, coleslaw, ice cream and so much more! We had to set the record in order to get it for free, so we just had to defeat it! We had the whole menu menu plus some at this famous downtown pub and restaurant spot, Ballyhoo, in Buffalo NY! Joel is an absolute legend. Since he's the first to beat the challenge (a given before he even walks into the restaurant), he wants to have a beatable time so he doesn't prevent other people from attempting it. That's when you know you're at the absolute top of your game. Class act.
And when he eats with other people, he always tries to match their pace as to not finish way before them. He's a good guy. Must be a Canadian thing.
The best part of this one was my fellow n.y. peeps... saying... look at him.. he's scraping... the cheering! Very proud for once to be from upstate n.y.... not to many things to be proud about... but Buffalo and Joel,,, ty so much!

I don't care whether you break the record or not, you're still the only professional eater that I subscribed to. I know there are more eaters out there who eat faster than you, but all they do is gorge down the food as fast as they can and it look disgusting tbh. You're different Joel! You took your time to explain the flavors and you enjoyed the food that you ate. You eat extremely fast but in an elegant way, unlike others.
You said it right, Joel! Buffalo has a great, friendly spirit! I went to college there at University at Buffalo. And have been to Ontario many times! I love Canada and its people! I'm so glad that you go all over the States and Canada to do these challenges. I can see that you love to travel and experience not just food, but the culture and people as well.
