Egg shortages due to failed politics. Norwegian farmers were paid to produce fewer eggs, while import duties on eggs were increased. This government is particularly inept.

    • @jeschinstad
      @jeschinstad Před měsícem +2

False. Norway wanted to keep a high production of eggs and donate any surplus to Africa. We were forbidden from doing this out of fear that it might damage the global egg market. That is why we had to cut back on egg production. It does not matter what kind of government we have because this is a restriction that is placed upon us as a nation.

The crime rate in Sweden is number one in Europe, it is unfortunately affecting all the nearby neighbor nordic countries as criminal activity tends to spread out. I have noticed this clearly even if I just live in a small town in southern Finland. The rise of aknowledged police shortage due to rise of drug gang related and other kind of harsh criminality is a very true fact throughout the whole nordic region nowadays. The nordic countries are not the same safe and secure space what the public reputation of this region perhaps once back in the old days told the visiting tourists and you can definately read about it in public news of today. It is kind of a sad but true fact.😢

If you had looked at who shoots and uses knives in the east side of Oslo, none of them are ethnically Norwegian. These are our new compatriots who bring their culture, or rather lack of culture, into our country.
This is a big problem because in Norway we don't have any gangs that "own" areas and where they come from they "own" areas, so they think that the place is "ripe" for picking and therefore small wars start over who "owns" areas.
They do not have our culture which says that we all own the areas and therefore no one owns them.
My sons are half Arab and half Norwegian and they are often tried to be dragged into "property disputes".
Norwegians find it difficult to understand what this is really about and are therefore paralyzed.
That is why we need more police to break up the gangs and for the police to take back the land so that it does not belong to an ethnic race but belongs to all of us.

But gang violence, blood revenge, robbery, etc. happened here long before immigration was common. You can almost say that it was part of our culture.

The gangs are pretty multicultural though. So this ‘brings their culture to Norway’ is probably a too easy explanation. This kind of generalisation and ‘We vs Them’ argumentation will only make the gangs even bigger in the end of the day. We want to believe everyone has the exact same opportunity’s in Norway, but that’s not the reality.

Yeah, winter was just "what winter is supposed to look like". The real problem is really that we've had milder winters for quite a few years now. Its supposed to be cold enough to walk on the ice during winter. As for the ukraine thing, the rest of europe is being super weird about it all. They're basically going with the narrative that we're supposed to be filthy rich and should therefore pay more, not bearing in mind that we're a population of 5.5 million people (meanwhile poland and germany is some 35 million people each) most norwegians shrug their shoulders about it. And yeah, we've had higher armed crime rates lately. Oh and the farmers is a relatively simple thing. We have a farmer cooperation, which makes it so that farmers no longer compete with each other but can just sell their produce at a depot. The problem is that the middle man there have gradually increased their own earnings, going from a fair cut to basically 90-95% of the profit. Then they bribe government to look the other way while they make strange news articles which mislead where the problem lies. The middleman thing is initially a good thing, however it creates some weird problems that are difficult to solve because the ones creating the problem has all the power in the situation.

The egg shortage is, as I understand it, because the regulator made too low forecasts causing the farmers to lower the population of hens. Now we suffer here in Norway until the farmers can get more hens going. I experienced the same in the US two years ago. At that time there was a similar shortage. I don't know the case of it, but eggs were really really expensive. Hotels served bacon, but no eggs.

Farmers struggles mostly because of the inflation in Norway, especially around electricity and fuel consumption, which in all regards shouldn't be an issue in Norway since we are self sufficient. Tons of food went to waste because they couldn't afford the electricity for storage at the same time as fuel prices they need for equipment became really expensive due to the electrification of Norway. The issue is farmers already earn more then average Norwegian person and still demand more so food prices also rises meaning people with average or less salaries cant afford their own living. We support the farmers but at the same time this is an issue enforced by the government currently in power with their politics which is why there is so much hate towards them. We provide to other country for less then we provide for ourself which is an huge problem.
I may be missing other factors around the issue in this comment.

The farmers formes coops to ensure, that they had resipients for theyre produce, and to ensure awalability in a geographical challenging country.

It's not the Ukrainians who are disappointed, but Norwegians. We are increasing our support, but we would like it increase it more. My personal opinion is that the money we make from the war does not belong to the Ukrainians, but that it also shouldn't belong to the Norwegians. It should belong to peace in general. Blood money should always be earmarked for opposition against evil and not mixed with normal money. So we should take the blood money, because that's how the world works, but the question is how we spend it.

_INTEGRATION_ is the problem if not done right, not immigration.
We are dependant on immigration for growth.
